selkirk Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Jeebus, Who did you piss off this year! Get well soon! At least this one won't impact spraying or drinking Quote
Rad Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Sad news. At least you'll be getting great docs at Harborview. Get well soon. Perhaps that UW rock needs closely-spaced bolts to prevent such an accident. Or at least closely-spaced lawyers to deal with its aftermath. Quote
Winter Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Sorry to hear this Porter - recover soon homey! Quote
John Frieh Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 another ploy ... try as you might you will not escape ... all your pushup are belong to me :laf: Get well Porter! But take your time as Fern is gonna pwn you! Quote
Alpine_Dreamer Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I happened to be getting ready to climb at the rock when Porter took his fall, and I don't think I'll view Coach's Crack (the top of which he fell from) quite the same again. It wasn't a pretty sight, but Porter was hangin' in there solid despite what, based on the crook in his lower right leg, must've been terrible pain. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Quote

Someone must have pushed him. Must have paid extra for the good drugs cause he's aweful quiet right now, normally 15 min won't go by without a Porter post. Dude: here's wishing you fast recovery and pretty nurses. Quote

ashw_justin Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I don't think I'll view Coach's Crack quite the same again.Recently I could have sworn it looked like something had been poured down that side of the wall. Must have been rabid locals trying to prevent the send a la City Park. Quote

JayB Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Man that suuuuuucks. I've fallen while reaching for the top at the end of a problem just to the right of Coach's Crack that we called "Four Rock Classic." I was lucky enough to walk away no worse for wear, but it did seem as though that the gravel on that side was just a bit shallower than elsewhere. I can vaguely recall pushing a bit more gravel into my anticipated landing zones on that aspect of the rock after that. Anyhow - very sorry to hear about the accident, and hope that you get great care and recover fully, as quickly as possible. Quote
catbirdseat Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Porter, best wishes for a swift and complete recovery. P.S. Can I borrow your ropegun while you are laid up? I'll return him in the same condition that I find him. Quote
ZimZam Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Damn Peeps not again. I guess I'll just send that perky bitch to your room again. 8D Quote
