That sounds great! Thanks for the news, Timmy. Anybody heading up there Memorial Day w/e for some skiing?

I can't tell the difference between normal responses and cliches in this thread anymore.

Holy crap graupel, that site is crazy! I don't know where they get their info. . . tax forms? I looked up a bunch of people, found them, and then looked myself up. It's got my birth date, phone number, my work address, my parents' address, my dad's office address. Plus you can do background checks. I'm glad I'm not stalking material.

Sounds religious. WWJD?

Nobody else was riding up the hill. The hill kicked my ass. And anybody else could've too. No neon though. And no boobs yet, but I'm crossing my fingers. And Specialed, don't worry. The kid won't have a better experience for what he's studying anywhere else. And he'll make some damn good money for a summer job. Should there be just one giant spray thread today?

Single speeds are fun. They're less maintenance, quieter, and - if you're into that sort of thing - make you use better technique instead of fiddling with gears. I rode mine to work yesterday and got my ass kicked going back home over council crest.

Then he'd never know how crazy and wacky the world of biomedical engineering can be .

If I was in a fraternity I'd have some ideas. Just looking to have fun with the guy. Maybe hazing is too strong a word? I guess pranks is better. I like the Dru's dress code idea. We were already going to wear shirts and ties for the first week, see how long he went with it . Such is the hilarious life of a cubicle rat.

That's pretty good, and I pulled the same one on my friend telling him to get his headlight fluid (halogen) and muffler bearings checked at the shop. But - this guy's an engineer so I doubt he'll fall for it. Nothing better? Please help. He comes a week from tomorrow. As for the cigar, I'm a guy and so is he, and I don't really like poop-flavored cigars.

We've got an intern coming in next week and I'm not very creative. I'm looking for any and all prank ideas, preferably non-violent and sanitary (but I can't rule those out). He'll be here all summer long, but I think that the first week is the best opportunity for me to do anything. . . that's when he'll be the most impressionable. If you need background, he's in college and I work for a medical company. Please help! Thanks in advance. P.S. Obviously, any suggestions that produce good pictures will be posted here.

What the hell is MILF Day? Why today? What do I have to do to celebrate?

If I remember right, this was already happening with an additional registration fee when the hybrids first came out a few years ago. The reasoning was the same: People with fuel efficient cars don't pay as much in gas tax. The problem with this argument is that a smaller car causes much less wear and tear on roads as a light truck. I think there should be an additional part to this fee: Increase the $/mile tax depending on gross vehicle weight.

Thanks for reposting it, that's badass. I was working on the Misery Ridge trail when a guy came down and showed me video of you crossing. I didn't get his contact info though, sorry. Nice work!

These are the male cheerleaders from my school. And this was their most EXTREME stunt. As for the female cheerleaders, they dance in place. Nothing suggestive, no flying through the air. They're not even called cheerleaders, goddammit!!! I believe I was robbed in college.

Wow. Some girl pushing skin-colored clay balls on her chest. Sexy!

We learned all about that in grade school in Mexico, but never in my US history classes here. I've been to that castle a bunch of times, it's a cool place that doesn't forget its history .

I'm heading down Friday night and have room for three comfortably, four not so comfortably. I'm leaving early Sunday morning for some Mother's Day yardwork detail, but it should be easy to find a ride back later on Sunday if you want to stay longer.

So you're happy that the explosions end up on your butt cheeks instead of the toilet seat?

Oh, the right link is this http://bensbargains.net/old/arc.shtml and scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the bottom. The headline is "$750 off select $1499 Inspiron Notebooks at Dell Home". Squid!!! Thanks a million for this site! I just used it when I was in Kauai this week and hooked up with a really cool retired guy who lives on the beach. Instead of staying with him, he showed me an amazing beach with almost no tourists (except me) and lent me his camping gear so I could stay there for a couple of days. I hung out with him and his friends, drank beers, listened to them play the ukulele, and watch the surf some big waves. This was a million times better than what I could've done just driving around on my own. My girlfriend is considering using this for a bit when she's in Thailand this fall.
