boadman Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I'd like to: Â 1. Get on at least one new pitch every-time I go to index. 2. Send some long-standing local projects @ Si & Index, etc. 3. Get out to Colchuck Balance rock & get on something, it all looks awesome. 4. Get my second orchard established at my folks. 5. Get my son riding a pedal bike. Quote
G-spotter Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 There are a couple of two-three day alpine traverses in the local hills that I'll be happy if I get to do this year. Quote
kevbone Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 - Get more people stoked to climb at a crag I've been developing.  what crag are you developing? I'm psyched to explore new crags this season.  It's up at Exit 38 Far Side, near Headlight Point. Rad is pretty good with giving guided tours. The area needs more aficianados. I might come out to play this Summer too and finish a proj not even Rad knows about, but will need to replenish my stolen bolt and hanger cache  Far Side out past Ozone on the the way to the RAWK? I'd like to get out there. I heard I can place some gear out there and there is a surprise waiting for me A guided tour is needed since Tim's book won't some out soon enough...  No there are two farside's. He is referring to the one in WA near Seattle. Quote

Off_White Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Individual objectives are less important to me than just a general MORE, more trips, more days, more climbing, and posting more TR's. The key to that seems to be the calendar, putting things down on paper makes them real and other things then have to be scheduled around the climbing, not vice versa. Written down so far:  >Cochise Stronghold & Tucson, old buddies reunion and such, April 9th-16th. >Red Rocks with my local Oly crew, April 30th to May 5th >City of Rocks June 5th-9th with a bunch of Bellinghamsters >Some days in the Cascades July 16th-24th >Eastern Sierra Alpine/Burning Man/City of Rocks August26th to Sept 12th >Somewhere in October: Hells Canyon/San Rafael Swell/Red Rocks? >Joshua Tree for Thanksgiving  Oh, and cragging about the state too: Tenino, Mazama, Tieton, Fossil, Static, Darrington, Spring, Hush-Hush jive off Hwy 2, the list exceeds time available Quote
Stefan Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Get into the outdoors with friends. Same goal every year.  it could be climbing it could be waterskiing it could be drinking it could be kayaking it could be lounging at an alpine lake  Quote
Maine-iac Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Slightly different goals... Not kill anybody during clinicals/ride time. Pass NREMT-P Â Get outside as much as possible in the "2 weeks" I might have off between now and Oct. Quote

Drederek Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 JT in 2 weeks, I'd love to get my wife up some 10's there this year. RR beginning of May, We're talking about Birdhunter Buttress to the top of the Rainbow wall among other things. Definitely gotta get back up to Squamish, its been a few years. Inner Constance has been on the list for awhile, this could be the year. It'd be nice to at least scout out Warrior while I'm up there as well. Gotta hit Ozone again, had a blast there the one time I've been. I'm gonna try and not attempt to lead Floater this year, I'm tired of getting shut down on something I know I can redpoint. I'll try The Riddler instead. Plenty of low probability moves for me on that one but I'll get lucky at least once. I'm being maneuvered into trying Slesse so thats in the mix. City of Rocks after Labor day, gotta tick off a few more 10a's on my classic tee shirt and give Crack of Doom a shot. And my #1 goal is ..... Climb at Fossil with Humble Ted Awesome! Quote
