Who knew E-bikes could be a game-changer in the mountains? I didn't see that coming! Another excellent TR from that area @dberdinka, thanks for putting another on our lists!

I really liked that route, but almost didn't survive to start it. When @therunningdog and I were gearing up after getting off the glacier, a few car sized chunks broke out of the icefall and obliterated our tracks leading up the glacier. We missed getting the chop by about 10 mins. And I didn't even register any icefall hazard on the approach!

And we appreciate the TRs! I am woefully behind on putting stuff up from my meager adventures this summer. I guess that is what November is for.....

No way! Follow the normal route up the NF Sauk to the south side of the mountain.

Been meaning to do this loop....thanks for the reminder! Frostbite ridge is a fantastic climb and it has been 17 years since I last visited, so probably time to do it again!

No, I climbed the EFD 10 years ago. Can't believe it has been that long. And Mix-up probably 17 years ago now....Yikes. Been doing this for too long!

I think 95? I am so far behind on TRs this summer.....but the rains of November will fix that! I won't finish this summer. Too many other compelling things to do.

That mountain doesn't mess around. My partner pulled off a hold and took a long fall, severely injuring his ribs. It took us many hours to come out the second day, limping along, followed by a trip to the ER. Glad you escaped unscathed, at least physically!

Yeah @Matt_Alford! And I hope that wasn't your heel. Ouch. One word: Leukotape. Interesting how that traverse is getting a lot of attention this year. I remember thinking I was WAY off the beaten path on the North side of Primus as we came down to camp from Tricouni a few years back. Good thing nobody came by to ruin my impressions.

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen more than 2. Of course I tend to only go in the shoulder seasons.... Well done getting out, that's a fun one!
