Resist before it is too late and the only people that can get outside are the ones that can afford, the parking pass, backcountry permit, camping fees, and soon hiking use fee, climbing use fee, daytime use fee, night time use fee, and on and on. My point is, it is going to keep getting worse. Just think it has been just a few years and now they are up to $85, what is going to happen over the next couple years. Hey Jopa they ride great in the soft stuff, but when it is hard pack your better off with a regular board. Try for yourself, there are a few places that rent them. You could probably get one for that weekend.

I am going out to Conconully/Okanogan area this weekend, visiting with my dad and grandmother, which will drive me completely insane unless I get out and do something. Anyone out in the area want to get out do something bc day tour or some climbing on Saturday? I have a Split board for backcountry and all the accessories, into ice or rock. Lead comfortably up to grade 4 ice, 5.9 rock will push 10's but it is early in the season, so I prefer to keep it mellow. PM me or e-mail me if you are interested.

Been thinking about boarding Lib Ridge, but that would be totally dependent of conditions. Emmons is going to be the back up plan if it is to hard of surfaces on Lib Ridge. Last year would have been great for boarding it when I was up on it, it sucked climbing it though.

Funny you went up there on Saturday cause I was up in the area on Friday and was thinking about checking out the approach. Damn, it would be rad if that face would freeze up. I know earlier this last summer I was thinking that when I was up with Alpinfox on another part of the mountain.

Yeah Don, alpine ice. After seeing your slides up at the imprompto ice fest made itchin' to get on some of that stuff you showed. If you are going up to do some and want some company, I'd totally be up for some alpine ice. Also I always like those climbs where they are solo-able doing them in a group of people like you had shown. Sorry to hear you weren't able to get on anything after all that driving.

Hey Dave, the Carbon glacier does really flatten out a bit. If you go, go early in the season before it really starts opening up. I personally think Emmons would be much better for skiing. BTW- sorry I didn't get back to you this weekend, but I figured you wouldn't want a call at 1 am saying that I wasn't going to be able to go to Crystal.

I don't particularily like Martha, but that doesn't really matter. The way I see it you play the game then you pay. She was found guilty no if and's or but's about it. I was really surprised that she was found guilty since it seem most of the time rich people can buy their way out of anything.

I think it is a great idea, but you realize though spray will probably become even more so than it is a mens forum.
