Actually spray doesn't detract but refracts. Scientists conclude that our eyes actually detect light that is refracted from CRT screens. This light that we percieve is what is reflected from the sun and other artificial lights. So, in fact your own spray is bouncing right back at you right now.

jb, can't all cracks be jammed? Ehmic, if Damnation crack isn't a crack climb what is it. I jammed all the way up that thing. I would say for the grade it is quite a good route. Oh, and one more thing on here. Some of you are just posting like the hardest crack you have climbed and stuff. Some of the cracks mentioned kinda suck as cracks.

Back on Topic I want to make it up a .12 trad climb this year and a bunch of other stuff too

Never underestimate a climbers grip strength

The most friendly place I have climbed is . . .wait a minute. .. this is a gay sounding question. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay -(if you like being the one on the left in the new icon) but I don't care. If you go to climb then go to climb. . . Unless its winter time and the sun goes down early and there's some hot climber-betties around the campfire -then you should walk up with some Stout for the gents and hot toddys for the ladies and see if you can "onsight" a 5.12 rated lassie.

Luckily us tradsters carry a few extra nuts for just such an occasion
