Skeezix Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I'll take tomorrow: he'll drop from the race by close of business Wednesday 11/30/11. "You want a job, don't you?" Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I think it'll take longer. The man's, well, not as self-aware as he could be. Quote

rob Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 "you've got to question, the hundreds of thousands of people that I have met in my life,” Cain said. “A hundred thousand people could possibly come out.” Most honest thing he's ever said Quote
olyclimber Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 you racists just don't want to see a black man become president Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 you racists just don't want to see a black man become president C'mon now - we've already had two! Clinton was the first, after all. Quote
jon Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 It almost seems as if the Republicans are trying to lose the presidential race again. I guess we get four more years of them blocking anything Obama tries to do. Quote
AlpineK Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Either now or in the recent past his campaign backers have questioned him. "So how many chicks should we expect to see making public statements about you?" "We don't need an exact number Herman; 20, 50, 100, more?" Quote
AlpineK Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 It almost seems as if the Republicans are trying to lose the presidential race again. I guess we get four more years of them blocking anything Obama tries to do. Possibly. Romney seems like the eventual contender, but there are tons of interviews where he contradicts himself about his opinions on abortion and climate change. Gingrich has a lot of baggage too. Quote
Phil K Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 'Kinda makes you wonder why God told ol' Herman that He wanted him to run for president. Maybe it was a trap. Quote
ZimZam Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 He'll bow out over the weekend. Slow news cycle and all. Quote
billcoe Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I'll take tomorrow: he'll drop from the race by close of business Wednesday 11/30/11. I can't bet on it, too much like sitting on the porch watching a dog walk past a fire hydrant. Will he go piss on it or not? No way to know. I suspect he's a good guy, but not Presidential material in a Ross Perot kind of way. Newt is, Obama is. We'll have to wait for the book to come out to detail the full story as he and Sarah Palin travel the US on that bus of her's. I understand they have the cover worked out. Quote
prole Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Alas, poor Herman Cain. He flew so high, so fast, but like Icarus, flew TOO CLOSE TO THAT ASS!!! Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I suspect he's a nice guy, but not presidential material...like Newt. Quote
rob Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I suspect he's a good guy, but not Presidential material so, a married man who has been accused of sexual harassment by three different women as well as a secret, 13 year affair with another is probably a "nice guy?" You sure know how to pick 'em, bill. Quote
Off_White Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Yeah Rob, I don't suppose he's a good guy at all. All those women, and none of them seem to think he should be president either. Quote
AlpineK Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I'm thinking the woman who have made statements about Cain are a fraction of the real number. Apparently he is successful running Godfathers, but nice guy? Nope Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 And not presidential material. Not like Newt. Who also seems to be a 'nice guy'. Quote
G-spotter Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 So none of you guys figure Cain is getting swiftboated by the other Repubs? all of these women are legit, none are character assassins hired/prepared/bankrolled by another Repub? Quote
Off_White Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 No, Republicans wouldn't stoop to that kind of tactic, they're honorable servants in service to freedom and truth. Quote
