TrogdortheBurninator Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Nice work! Sure doesn't feel like V1 without tape, but maybe it does with. Quote
kevbone Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 That must be a road side boulder? I can hear the cars. Quote
Rad Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Sweet. Looks harder than V1, but then who cares what the rating is? It is what it is... Quote
Chuck_Norris Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Well done Chuck Norris! Â That fool isn't Chuck Norris! I have a beard, that guy can barely muster pubes. Quote
fenderfour Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Well done Chuck Norris! Â That fool isn't Chuck Norris! I have a beard, that guy can barely muster pubes. Â Beards are aid Quote
EWolfe Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 No tape. Nice. Â You are getting full value at that speed. Quote
Bill_Simpkins Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I tried it last Saturday. Was too lazy to tape. Got my ass kicked. Nice job! Â Quote
ashw_justin Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 No tape. Nice.Eh, I think he is just using that skin-colored tape. Quote
G-spotter Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 i have only ever been able to do it with tape. but since tape is aid, i haven't really ever done it yet in truth. Quote
ken4ord Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 That problem looks nice. Never been on it. Â Dave next time don't drink so much coffee. Quote
BigWave Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 That is great. Thanks for sharing... I got on Royal a couple of weeks ago w/ PLENTY of tape. Still shreaded my wrists and no send yet... Quote
Raindawg Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hey Alpinfox. Â Nice route well done. But what were those two other guys doing? They looked like they were trying to channel their mojo-energy into your body, or practicing natural childbirth, or just wanting to touch you if you'd let them. Â If they were spotting you, that's cheating, because years ago we used to fall off that thing and get hurt while our buddies stood by and laughed until it was their turn. Quote
Off_White Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Perhaps you'll note:  a) he didn't fall  b) he actually made it all the way up the problem  What's the deal, is it a problem for you if his friends are more compassionate than the people you used to hang out with? Quote
StreetBoss Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Nice job - the spotters looked a bit homosexual - maybe they just admire you  Quote
Raindawg Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Perhaps you'll note: a) he didn't fall  b) he actually made it all the way up the problem  What's the deal, is it a problem for you if his friends are more compassionate than the people you used to hang out with?  Perhaps you'll note:  a) good on him...loads of people, including myself, have been climbing that thing for years and it's an interesting and tough little low altitude bouldering problem. It shows that his jamming skills are very good indeed! I doubt if I could pull it off now in such fine form but even still, my buddies would rather scoff than nurture me with gentle caresses nor would I ever expect them to.  b) you've got no sense of humor.  I've met Alpinfox, and I like the guy and think he's very talented, but I feel that the little movie represents another post-modern, sanitized-for-safety climbing experience...the only thing missing is an air-bag should he fall from the crux, four feet above the ground. G-spotter Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 3 minutes to climb 30 feet!??! WTF?  omg new speed record Quote
