Dan Brown's prequel to "The DaVici Code", Angels and demons is a fun read for light stuff.

Check out anything by Jim Harrison or David James Duncan. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

 

Cochise, by Peter Aleshire is a great story,

and I always recommend reading Gaviotas: A village To Reinvent The World by Alan Weisman to get your spirit of humanity back.

I'm going through the same thing right now, laid up with a knee injury. It's amazing how many books you can go through when you've got time on your hands.
