Climb 5.10a sport/trad strongly (no cheating) Lead 5.8 Sport and lead easy trad (learn all the stuff that goes along with that such as anchor building etc.) Climb ice (toprope - might make that one this year ) Alpine Alpine Alpine Rainier (easy route) Ski Black Diamonds The rest - TBD...... Mine: 1.Lead more WI 2.Lead more Trad (hell, climb more rock in general.) 3.Something hard on Rainier 4.Something(s) hard in the North Cascades 5.Something(s) hard in British Columbia. gap Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 I'm a complete newbie... only been climbing once with Snowbyrd and Simona (absolutely the best mentors a climber could ask for) out at Frenchman's Coulee... my goals are to learn how to trad climb, learn how to lead, pass the mounties basic course, to tackle some multi pitch routes... oh yeah, and to have loads of fun doing it of course! Climb in January the Black Dike, Cannon Cliff & Pinnacle Gulley on Mt. Washington in NH. 3.) Finish my solo aid and free projects at Index. 4.) Climb as more of the classic routes in the Cascades that I have yet to do when I come back: Clean Break, W Face CBR, NF of Shuksan, etc, etc, etc 5.) Start exploring the mountains around my possible new Euro home: Picos De Europa, French Alps and the Pyrenes. 6.) Work on improving my onsight level. Edited December 16, 2004 by TimL Quote

Onsight Zebra-Zion, get the Pioneer Route on Monkeyface, and finish BBQ the Pope without pitching off! Outer Space and Orbit. Stuart West Ridge. Sit on the top of Liberty Bell. Rainer Get a weekend climbing in the Enchantments. Climb something with my Dad. Spend more weekends out in the mountains then I did this year! Not really climbing... but get back on Ski's again! Oh, and again not climbing, but there's a definite misery factor involved, and it's an upleasant journey for a worthwhile goal but.... finis my Dissertation and get my ass out of school! Quote
