I looked at all of the available miner 'biners and didn't like the bulk that they added. I also wanted a clip with a captive eye. 250 lbs working load limit means a 1000 lb breaking strength. These are plenty burly to hold your tools. Which brings up another point - If you bought one of these from me, you must understand that it is only to prevent a tool form being lost.
