  1. So, the ruined gloves are a feature, not a downfall. Got it
  2. I've ruined many a glove on the rope tow at the Meany Lodge. Never figured out how to start out on that thing with those little metal grippers. Oh the memories of ping pong tournaments late into the evening :sigh:
  3. I was wondering what those "Ice Tunnels" looked like. That's a rather unique feature
  4. Talk to Brian_m, he has a pair and has been using them a bit this season.
  5. Looks like Linda Hamilton on crack
  6. :lmao:
  7. Oh, double burn. I'd blame the little lady, but her convincing me not to go was too hard to resist
  8. F'n sweet pics They'd make Scurlock have a double take!!
  9. I setup the old rat tail type of system for my BD skins with the clip fix tail attachment. Last year I had a few problems with the tail lock tab coming undone, yet the skin never came off the ski's. No such problem's with the new rat tail.
  10. Let's here some names. That's totally uncool
  11. Maybe this has been discussed before, but I just saw this photo in the random image place on the main forum list. Probably brings up a bunch of BS, but I thought maybe some others would like to comment on whether it would be respectful to eliminate his photos or other posts from being randomly displayed. If this has been discussed before Mods, feel free to delete this thread.
  12. Ugh, Amway. I got dupped into that once.
  13. Wow, that's pretty
  14. Photos, Photos, Photos. Bravo guys  Can't wait for my first trip down there.

  16. For Seattlites (and a few PDX'rs included) everything from Hood, to Lillooet and Point of the Arches to Bozman are considered "local".
  17. Good Jorb Guys My driveway was WI1+ this morning. Should have taken some pictures.
  18. Typical Leavenworthinisms
  19. Good looking photos  Hopefully that lower section of ice stays put for a while this year
  20. That lower section is looking way fatter than last year, missed out this weekend I guess
  21. Jeez, I forgot to listen to this pod cast, man I've been missing out I guess. Fuck what do I know
  22. Did that stuff on the East end of Exit 38, about the Black Ice area still look good? It was thin when I drove by on Sunday, but I was thinking another day or so, it might go.
  23. Props dog  That Snoqualmie stuff looks better than I've seen it in a couple years
  24. The little lady might come tonight, too.
  25. I disagree with that. This ice newb has been on several WI5 lines this year (TR of course) and if you are a strong 5.10 climber there really is no reason to TR a route of this grade. It's true that you probably should think twice about leading something like this, but immersion is the best method for learning (at least for me) IMHO. Climbing with mine over the weekend worked fine. Only one question, does climbing with one loose crampon "up" the grade any?
