I'm a 20-something male, who had the good fortune to learn from a well seasoned older climber. I mostly enjoy climbing with these older types, since they share most of my ethical climbing points of view and tend to be less competitive. Lots of cool stories, too :tup:

24 hours isn't enough Maybe we can plan something a few weeks ahead? When's Sausagefest?? Wasn't it in February last year??

Glad to hear that you're doing good and you injuries were minor :tup: Not to put you on the spot or to give others opportunity for critisism, but would there be anything you would have done differently? I've been climbing with a fire fighter recently and it's really gotten me thinking about renewing all my MOFA, WFA, and CPR stuff that I let lapse.

I gotta hit the gym tonight, otherwise my fat ass will keep getting fatter.

Could it be a bad batch or ropes. I'm a Mammut fan myself, though I have a NE rope that is going to be my workhorse this year. We'll see how that holds up

Yeah, yeah, yeah....we usually do it up there in North Seattle, but I figured in the last year that I've been going we could at least have one near my house. Skylark sounds good to me, good place and good atmosphere :tup:

I'm assuming you tried a hiring agency. My g/f gets calls from them all the time and she doesn't even want a job right now
