I hate that place and I know a few climbers from there(or they used to climb the wankers). Black Diamond is the worst town in Washington. I can't wait until that place is finally paved over and the coal piles burned in celebration.

Lucky for him The CNR (w/gendarme) is a great example of a simulable (new word) route. The first few pitches are a bit much for an average leader to solo, but for the most part after that it's low 5th, if not 4th class climbing. When following, I usually leave my belay device attached to the rope, with a knot tied behind it. If the leader needs a belay, I can plug a few pieces and have him on in a matter of seconds.

He told me a story about some neutrino's once. It was kind of like one of those "had to be there" kind of stories. He does distribute some pretty bitch'n brews from the land of "Full Service Gas". :tup:

I have a friend who's wife climbed while pregnant last year. Saw his new kid over the weekend and I think he'll grow up just fine. The full body harness is the best way to go, too. :tup:
