EWolfe Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 Thanks for the nice comments. I have about 150 hours and 3K into it, but it will be my home when I move to FLAGSTAFF in February, via Bishop, JTree, Moab... Â :moondance: Quote
chris Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 WTF??? You're leaving the sunny and wonderful community of Bellingham? Quote
EWolfe Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 (edited) I feel like a pariah in my home town. Â In all my 18 years of travelling, living and climbing, never have I met a tougher town than Bellingham. ken4ord Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Damn man that is awesome work you did on your rig. I been wanting one of those for a longtime, though here it wouldn't be so good unless I lifted and had 4 wheel drive. Have fun traveling, and good luck with the move. Quote
DirtyHarry Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 After you move to Flagstaff can I bivy in your van when I come down to climb? Quote

You're not willing to eat dirt and grow a thick coat of mold while begging out a sub-subsistence living on the corner of Railroad and Holly?? Can't handle the pressure of trying to beat out 400 applicants for that third interview for a postion as a dishwasher at Diamond Jim's?? Â And, you might have more climbing partners is you could tell the difference between Baker and Shuksan. Quote
tradclimbguy Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Wow, that is great lookin. Nice work man. I've redone a couple interiors before and that is a heck of alot of work. I did the same bubble insulation and expando foam. Instead of fiberglass though I did a second layer of the bubble wrap and left an air pocket. I was too worried about condensation and mold in the insulation. Next time it might be good to throw an extra layer of plastic over the entire set of insulation just to make sure it never gets wet. Â Man, that is just great work. Excellent rig. Quote
Chad_A Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Awesome work. Now, get a set of old Cragar Mags, and a cool airbrush painting for the side.  Fu Manchu, "Chevy Van"  I gave a girl a ride in my wagon she crawled in and took control She was tired as her mind was a draggin' I said get some sleep--and dream of rock n roll  cause like a princess she was laying there moonlight dancing off her hair She woke up and took me by the hand She's gonna love me in my Chevy van And that's all right with me  Her young face was like that of an angel her long legs were tanned and brown Better keep your eyes on the road son Better slow this vehicle down  'cause like a princess she was laying there moonlight dancing off her hair She woke up and took me by the hand She's gonna love me in my Chevy van And that's all right with me  I put her out in a town that was so small You could throw a rock from end to end A dirt road main street, she walked off in barefeet it's a shame I won't be passin' through again  'cause like a princess she was laying there moonlight dancing off her hair She woke up and took me by the hand We made love in my Chevy van And that's all right with me Quote

EWolfe Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 (edited) After you move to Flagstaff can I bivy in your van when I come down to climb? Â Â Sure thing Bud! Â I just figured out tonight there IS room for a guest on the floor, even your lanky ass! Â Plus, contrary to Chaoda Boy's belief, I built in an extra 6 inches on the side of the twin (stuffed with clothing) to make a double. 8D Edited December 9, 2006 by MisterE Quote
