sobo Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Quirky. "So, what's your dog's name?" "She's quirky." Of course, any number of other adjectives would work fine. Or you could name her Quote
ChocChick Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Cluck, I am pretty confident I could come up with a great name for her, but I would need to spend a few days with her first . . . She's adorable! I will put in a vote for Luna. She'd be a cute "Bella" too! Quote
Eerie Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I've got a white flame-tipped siamese cat named Avalanche. We call her Avy for short and if you don't pay attention to her she'll tear you up and spit you out. You have a very good looking pup there. How bout 'Shuksan' ?? Quote
Kitergal Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I'm voting for Sahale! OMG!! That is a super cute pup!! If you ever need play dates...let me know...My pup...Scooter Bug loves to play!! Quote
yakimuchacho Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 "Jibber" is a solid name. I also like Chief. Quote
David_Parker Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 (edited) A ski patroler at Park City with an avalanche dog told me that a dog's name should be two distinct syllables. They respond better and know when you are calling them. Their dog was "heyduke". Mine was Triglav (higest mountain in Yugoslavia). A lot of suggestions made so far meet this theory. Just my $.02. "Alpine" would cover a lot, but Kurt might get confused! I notice you live in PDX. What about Yocum or Cooper? Edited December 13, 2004 by David_Parker Quote
rbw1966 Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 roadkill or lockjaw. I knew a guy with a pitbull named Lockjaw. Eyebrows would raise when he took it to the dog park and started yelling at the dog "NO! Lockjaw, NO!" I have a golden that will be turning 14 in February. Got Zeke when he was 7 weeks old. You've got a lot of amazing memories to create with that dog. They're the best. Might I suggest "Newton" or "Wy'east"? Good luck! Quote
Dru Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Gaper. Herpes. "why did the Newfie call his dog Herpes? Because she wouldn't heel." Quote
