That photo was indeed from Chair Peak. I was at work when Robooy, CBS and RobMcDan were out having fun in L'worth. I have not been climbing since I broke my leg, in fact I lent out my ice tools and rock rack. Thanks for the good wishes.

I second Intuition liners, I used them in my 10 year old Invernos on Denali worked well. I got them at Marmot Mountain Works in Bellevue.

I used to see this really pretty girl solo aid climbing at Index all the time. I ended up climbing with her a bit, she was quite good. Then I introduced her to my friend Alex and they got married. So yeah, there are women aid climbers out there and the moral is when you meet one don't introduce her to your friends.

You can motivate him to excercise by doing what my wife does and start calling by pet names like Pillsbury Dough Boy and Muffin Top.

I would think that Illumination saddle would be pretty ideal. One could dig into the snow bank on the Reid glacier side.

Rob, I have a couple different pairs of ice tools you could borrow: Aztars and Shrikes. The Shrikes are not a good comparison, however, because they once belonged to Colin Haley and are so infused with mojo that they will make you climb much better than any other ice tool on the market. Dan
