Size Large. Send a PM. $100 and I put it in the mail: I wore it once to the dog park, so it's still in mint condition. Same color as the picture: green. I thought I could wear green, but I found out I'm still a Black kind of guy. Regardless, the thing is pretty sweet, uber-light alpine gear from a great company. Details: 1.8 oz. Unsolicited Advice - Nalgene Bottle on Harness
Choada_Boy replied to SlickWilly's topic in Climber's Board
The cornhole idiots that are freaking out over the alleged presence of BPA at homeopathic levels is yet another sad commentary on the general scientific ignorance of Americants. Nalgene pulling there product is an even darker commentary on the power of litigation in our society: it has nothing to do with health, they just don't want to get sued. Plus, these Al bottles are turning into the new "coffee mug on a carabiner" ID badge for the coolest of the cool eco-hipsters and college freshman. And how the fuck are you supposed to pour melted snow into some narrow ass Al bottle? Bring a funnel? -
I have to add that this is, IMHO, a terrible forum for this type of discussion. My condolences for your loss, but this medium has historically demonstrated itself as volatile and insensitive and I feel that your quest here for understanding about such a tragic event may lead you in the wrong directions.

Checked these out today at Return Every Item. Seems like the trigger "wires" are made from some kind of cord that looks like it may not hold up too well to friction over the lifespan of the product. Any thoughts?

[TR] North Cascades - Scurlock's Backyard 4/12/20

Hey Dumbass: You're welcome. Spend a few minutes learning about how dumb you are before you make it common knowledge next time. Perhaps a quick search on this board, or on pbase, or thumbing through Alpinist, would have clued you in on your extra chromosome. Regardless, I'm sure you won't be leaving your cubicle too much this summer, busy reading your regulations and all, but if you do manage to pass me as lounge at the belay, I'll be sure to clove-hitch you to my last piece before I cut your rope and offer your partner a rap to the ground. Cheers! -

I smell a Tool... Awesome looking flight, thanks for the sweet mountain porn! -
Think about what you're doing. You're typing into a "Fake Society", where normal social protocols do not exist, and whamping about how these new societal norms rub you the wrong way, since you've started doing yoga. You are babbling about this on a BBS where the primary focus of discussion is climbing. If you think I should give a fuck, you have no life.
-
Do you realize how retarded you sound, whining about getting your feelings on a BBS? Life: Get One.
-
Hey Retard: How much did you have to spend on over priced gear to earn your $80 dollar dividend? They still made money off of you, fool. Enjoy your $16 shoes you spent $1200 buying. Not to mention that you earned ZERO dividends on that purchase...

Here's the skinny: I like the CF WODs because I don't have to use my brain to stay in shape: I just do what it says on the website. Anyone have a similar resource for proper exercise nutrition? I just want to be able to look at a website during the week and have it tell me what to eat. The weekends are another matter. "I wish they'd never invented fried cheese..."

$8000??? What's that work out to for each foot of climbing?

I use my gear like I use your Mom: Hard. When I'm done with her I tear her in half with my bare hands.

Sad to watch old men get their asses kicked, is all. Watching Tank eat the mat is like watching "Bum Fights". On a brighter note, perhaps Kimbo will sign with UFC and wreak havoc in the heavyweight division. It'd be fun to watch him against someone with some technical skills, or at least pummel Tim Silvia senseless.

I particularly enjoyed the "Dance of the EDK".

Raindawg rows his boat to Egypt and walks to the tombs he robs so that he can row home and complain about bolts at Exit 38. He doesn't even row through the Panama Canal, he's so committed to preserving the environment.

[clearing throat] "improbable"..."It didn't feel wet to the touch,"..."but all of the sudden your hands would pop, your foot would pop. You got spray on your face and body. It was like a swamp cooler."..."Winter is not the best time to project something in Yosemite,"..."Sierra storms can be brutal. One day we showed up, and there was 3-4 feet of snow. Tommy [Caldwell] and I had to shovel for six hours; Tommy went to the top, and I shoveled the entire base."..."pretty serious fall potential"..."I climbed it really fast. It was hard for me to hold each position because it was powerful, and the feet are bad in some spots. It forced me to climb from little opening to little opening in the crack. You're deadpointing to fingerlocks and always fighting a barn door."..."I had to work harder on this climb than on any other... I think I was a little stubborn on this one. Most anyone else would have left [because of the winter season and difficulty], but I think the shoveling helped my climbing. It makes your back strong." --Beth Rodden I guess I should quit my job and resume ditch digging to get into good climbing shape. Getting paid to be quoted about my climbing might help, too. Meanwhile, in Darfur...
