I heard the album once when it originally came out and I remember it being pretty kick-ass, but I was either drunk or on drugs or both, and I'd like to know if my impressions were correct before I die. "Fags of Denial" and "Blow Job" have for some reason stuck in my head as something worth listening to. Any chance you could call me and play it over the phone or something?
I'm trying to track down a copy of the late '80s Seattle band SGM's album "Aggression". Anyone have a "cassette" or "album" (both of which are ancient media formats, the former using magnets and tape and the latter using a stick and a grooved plastic disk).
Anyone seen(or heard) this band/have{had} the album?
MSR says they are lined with food grade polyurethane, which has "excellent" resistance to gasoline. My only concern is that the membrane layer is very thin, so an older bag may allow for leaks, as it would with water.
I too feel the urge to "magnificently waste" my life when faced with the thought of this butter hog getting her hooves on me...
She completely ignores the fact that women are also great at killing themselves on high mountains. Anyone care to speculate on the gender ratios:
1) Probability of success
2) Probability of dying on descent after unsuccessful attempt
3) Probability of dying on descent after successful attempt
"The other climbers feared the mountain was too slippery and steep, so they decided to wait for rescuers."
Should read:
"The other climbers lacked the ability to descend without fixed ropes and sat in the snow waiting for someone to get them out of a situation they themselves could not."
It's pretty simple. People died doing something dangerous and they increased the danger to themselves by relying on others to get them up and off the mountain. No "cretinous speculation" required. It's like a tandem skydive and the guy with the chute just cut you loose. Now what?
That's why you don't put petrol in a diesel motor.
No, the exhaust had some kind of particulate collector, which would eventually catch on fire and shoot flames.
Which climber will spend an hour exposed to ice fall while waiting for the sherpas to lay fixed ropes? Which climber will sit and wait for help after the fixed ropes are swept away?
That's makes for a total of 4 pieces of gear. They backed up the biner on the blot with a draw and another biner. Isn't that redundant enough???
and the first couple of pieces of gear on the ground will do you a ton of good...
Huh? The second biner was a backup in case the biner on the bolt failed, and both were backed up with the runner on the draw Isn't that enough?
