New Year's resolution- dump the holiday weight
Dr_Flash_Amazing replied to plark42's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
Not that the svelte and sexy Dr. Flash Amazing has any unsightly poundage to drop, but what a fine way to ring in the new year! -
DFA increased his alcohol intake. It seems to have plateau'd for the foreseeable future. Still light 'n' sporty as always, though.

What is the meaning of all this reckless superosity? Most stuporous thing ever, is more like it.

A thousand humble apologies! The Doctor was just making an honest statement, though (and giving some more examples of actual killer photography--a good step before embarking on any small business venture, no? Size up the competition?). One could do better than to make an admittedly half-assed effort and then admittedly overcharge for the product, but somehow expect success anyway.

Red Rocks in January: Suggestions

Seek help, oh wayward child, before you wander too far down the dark path and become hopelessly lost. -
http://www.patitucciphoto.com http://www.onsight.com.au Great business model and plan for sucess, by the way. "Yeah, this sucks, but I hope you pay too much for it anyway." Here's to many more years in your cubicle, slacker.

Red Rocks in January: Suggestions
Dr_Flash_Amazing replied to treknclime's topic in Rock Climbing Forum
Lots of fun, low-commitment sport routes that get plenty of sun. Check out the Gallery & Black Corridor for high concentrations of easier terrain, but there's plenty more spread around the first three pullouts. It's vacation, right? Why punish yourself with hateful, cactus-thrashing approaches and icy descent gullies? -
Maybe it's time for you to piss off then, clown. Toodles!

Back from the back from the dead!

This is, hands down, the worst thread ever to (dis)grace the hallowed pages of this noble web thingy. A pox on all you rotters!
-
That's cool. The Crossfit looks brutal in the best way. If you're looking for other fun fitness, you should check out the Kung Fu, too!
-
Talk to Jerry Messinger; he has experience in both areas, as well as the gas drill (at least he used to).

Don't let Off White hear you saying shit like that. He'll come after you with the framing hammer and a box of 10d common nails.

Are you doing that down at the Academy of Kung Fu?

Again, yes? With the sarcasms? Dr. Flash Amazing's feelings, they are hurting now, at Christmastime. You are bad man, very cruel. -
Ah, that would be the famed Bachar Ladder, renowned far and wide for its ability to inflict tennis elbow on its unsuspecting victims. See? Is no training without paining!
-
DFA hates to be the bearer of bad tidings, especially at this otherwise jolly and festive time of year, but, it must be pointed out that rock climbing is typically significantly harder than climbing a ladder. You might want to try building a climbing wall instead! Helpfully, Dr. Flash "is no training without paining" Amazing

Wait, was that one of those sarcasm jobbies? -
The East coast is pretty cool. Very chill Rasta vibe from the Caribbean, lots of dreads, and reggae playing from the bars and restaurants. Hell, the country is so skinny, you pretty much have to see both coasts. It's about half a day's drive coast-to-coast, and you get to see the cloud forest and get passed by crazy drivers around steep mountain corners as you race about in your Toyota micro-van. Zoom!

Surely you are not lumping the dazzlingly brilliant Dr. Flash Amazing, international star, in with that bushwhacking, choss-groveling, not-quite-Twight layabout? -
As a former UPS employee, DFA can verify that that's not too far from the truth. Packages get beat to shit even under relatively normal circumstances traveling through a UPS hub. Assume DEFCON-4 damage to your shipment.

An amulet made of Tommy Caldwell's severed index finger, imbued with magical sending powers. Wooooooo!!!
