  1. State Crags -- I have heard people have been all over that place. Hell, its only 2.5 hours from WA Pass. It is now officially called something else. Named after some guy who died on Denali in 1995. Diosbud Buttes - looks to be nice winter line you can see at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Cascade Pass road. Elija Ridge - BTDT via easy route. Panther creek trail is ridiculous. Expect very bad brush in stilwell creek. Booker - good luck finding a route Perdition Pk. BTDT via sucky roper route. - the only line I can think of would be the northern of the two northeast facing lines(the southern of the northeast facing line is done). rock is between class 3 and 4 to summit from the west ridge.
  2. nice video
  3. do you have a general area and how many miles you are talking? is it all through brush or a trail or just past a gate on a logging road? don't need actual peak info
  4. I have always appreciated the loggerman. If it wasn't for the logger, we would not have logging roads. I am thankful for those logging roads to continue to the activity I pursue.
  5. definitely Tower
  6. Ouch is right. My feet hurt from reading.
  7. I think the Mounties are doing a 12 person trip up Liberty and and a 12 person trip up SEWS this coming weekend.
  8. swim trunks. that's all. not the ones down to the knees, but to mid thigh heighth. light. dry fast. have pockets. long enough to stop chaffing between thighs. they hold the middle man well.
  9. I thought baseball was a game where opponents were also humans. I don't get that feeling from the Yankees. Seattle too nice? Would you rather have neighbors from the midwest or neighbors from the northeast? I think most people would choose nice people.
  10. When I was in Europe several years ago, we were climbing this peak. About 10 other people and me put down our poles in an area we switched to ice axes. (No we were not all one group, but all climbing the same mountain). There was this Zermatt guide and his Japanese client too... Anyway, we came back down and found only my partners poles gone. We were ticked off. So we get back to the restaurant which is the starting point of the hike to the climb, and we find the Japanese dude with my partners poles. So we ask him what he the hell he was doing with my partners poles, and he said in bad English, "They were lying there, so I took them."

Was this the Darrington Shell station?
  12. I still think Greg Lemond's comeback was better.
  13. thanks for the report! Stefan
  14. Oklahoma City is not a good place for an NBA team. Too many nice folk live in Oklahoma City. I don't think there is a single father there with six children born to six different women.
  15. Wow. Kudos to you battling the brush to get to the base from Canada. I would have given up at the swamp.
  16. There was nice lake where there was none on the map.
  17. I see your camera is NOT broken!

    Net Neutrality?

So don't the telecoms and cable companies and satellite companies compete against each other? If they do compete against each other, wouldn't this conspiring as stated above, be considered illegal?

    Net Neutrality?

I do not know how each and every third world rural area is operating, but yes, over time they pay for the investment, otherwise why would the company (or the government) want to put up an investment.
