Everyone has the chance to do what they want after they have served their punishment. Unfortunately for him, the issue with the NFL really is not the dogfighting...it is the gambling. Which is sad to say that gambling has more precedent over dogfighting...

May be a good article, but I am not gonna pay to read that article.

I am not up on Karl Rove. Just not that educated on the man. So what things did Karl Rove push for the elimination of "less government" in our lives? All I can remember is stuff for more legislation. Am I right? I would like some examples becuase I thought the Republicans as well as tvashtarkatena want less government in our lives. If he is so great, what did he do for less government? Just want some examples. Thanks.

Sweden? What kind of historical research are you doing in Sweden?

The best way to avoid failures is to always start early. If you start early and encounter a route error, you will have time to correct the mistake, or if you run into crappy snow, or poor rock, or a field of slide alder you did not anticipate, or... The legendary French alpinist Gaston Rébuffat said, "You will never regret an early start."

I have always thought that maybe a tight rubber type sock with limited holes for ventilation would work. Maybe latex sock? I haven't found any....then again, I haven't really looked.

Excellente! Wow, such detail in your analysis. Great job Klenke. -
self defense can only be used if it is "like for like". For example if someone comes into your house, and you know they have nothing, you cant just shoot to kill becuase you are angry. If someone comes after you with their fists, then you can hit them back. If you feel your life is in danger, then yes, killing is acceptable. Like for like with reasonableness. That is the law.

I don't think I would like to sit in her seat after she used it on a hot summer day and the AC went out on that machine.

Okie dokie. Whatever you say! Love you too!

I bet the Gates Foundation will be the biggest purchaser of this stuff someday.

I misunderstood. My bad. So, are you going to pay the $8 then? If so, then you are willing to pay for that price--which means the price is reasonable to you, and your whining does not make sense.

Man, this is like the NBA with a little bit of MLB mixed in it. I knew I should have registered to race in the Tour this year. I could have had a chance.

It's not $18. That's just the entry fee. Add $20 for a campsite and $8 for a campfire, and, and, and. My question still remains. Did you pay $8 for a campfire?

I wonder how much carbon is used to produce a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. like to see the data on that.

Ummmm. If you haven't heard....numbers are dropping of people getting out to these hard to reach places. Only close places to urban settings are seeing an increase in the number of people. Road damage will keep these places even harder to get to. You have nothing to fear.

love the tie in with the parents on the trip report -
I for one, am for the road. Getting more people to any mountain is a plus. They more people see an area they can't get to, the more people are willing to preserve the area in the future. Its a necessary evil. Heck, the Forest Service has now added a gate at Dingford up the Middle Fork right in your backyard. Now it is an additional 7 miles of hiking one way to the original trailhead--now all on a road. Let's see how many more people are willing to go into the wilderness with that hike. And lets not forget the abandonement of the road past Stehekin. What about the Suiattle River road in its condition? Abandon it? What about the Cascade River road--should the NPS just abandon it too?
