catbirdseat Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 (edited) Look, fuckers. Anybody can go to a climbing mag sight and right click a photo. As for photos actually shot by people here: what, did you shoot them from space? The subjects might as well be the mail man. And as for the trad verses clippers verses whatever...leave to wankers to fuck a good thing up with minutae. Submit close ups of CC babes, or go the fuck home! Or better yet, let the women submit their own...so far they're kicking your asses big time. Don't fault me! This is an old thread and it was never restricted to a discussion of cc.com women climbers. catbirdseat Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Don't put 'em on the old thread. Put 'em here. Quote
AlpineK Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Ok this is a none climbing shot that's been in my gallery for a while. She's burley. Look at how she operates that auger in bare feet. I've got the 2007 calendar. You can't get that online. Quote
Sherri Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Nope. The Stihl calendar. That's what I was going to model for after I did this. Quote
Sherri Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 You'd be Miss January That'd be sweet. Would you pose with me--bet you have some great scars. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 i think to get a scar like that you have to Hit, not Miss Quote
ken4ord Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Is THAT the Ridgid Tool catalog? :lmao: :lmao: Quote
AlpineK Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 To get a good photo op you do need to hit not miss, but it has to be a natural hit. No sneaking off to ram a chainsaw into your leg just for the photo. Folks want to see you out kicking ass and then get hurt without planning it out. Your hit has the natural look to it. All my chainsaw injuries are old and healed over without the excitement of the fresh cut. Quote
Sherri Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Ahhh, the nuances of self-mutilation--I see you are true a connoisseur of chainsaw carnage, AlpineK. I agree, a worthy wound must communicate that "element of surprise". I was able to achieve that spontaneous look because the chainsaw was airborne at the time it chewed into my shin. It really worked for me, I reckon. Sounds like it might be time to "freshen up" a few of yours, if you're looking for a new technique... Quote
EWolfe Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Ok this is a none climbing shot that's been in my gallery for a while. An idea came to me that involves a swivel chair, imitating the auger work..... Quote
Dechristo Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I've rigged the swivel chair thing. You gotta be willing to sacrifice a belay butt seat Quote
sobo Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 One of those Chinese hanging basket chair thingies that attaches to the front porch roof also works. Trust me... Quote
