catbirdseat
Look, fuckers. Anybody can go to a climbing mag sight and right click a photo. As for photos actually shot by people here: what, did you shoot them from space? The subjects might as well be the mail man. And as for the trad verses clippers verses whatever...leave to wankers to fuck a good thing up with minutae. Submit close ups of CC babes, or go the fuck home! Or better yet, let the women submit their own...so far they're kicking your asses big time. Don't fault me! This is an old thread and it was never restricted to a discussion of cc.com women climbers. AlpineK
Ok this is a none climbing shot that's been in my gallery for a while. She's burley. Look at how she operates that auger in bare feet. I've got the 2007 calendar. You can't get that online.

AlpineK
To get a good photo op you do need to hit not miss, but it has to be a natural hit. No sneaking off to ram a chainsaw into your leg just for the photo. Folks want to see you out kicking ass and then get hurt without planning it out. Your hit has the natural look to it. All my chainsaw injuries are old and healed over without the excitement of the fresh cut.
Sherri
Ahhh, the nuances of self-mutilation--I see you are true a connoisseur of chainsaw carnage, AlpineK. I agree, a worthy wound must communicate that "element of surprise". I was able to achieve that spontaneous look because the chainsaw was airborne at the time it chewed into my shin. It really worked for me, I reckon. Sounds like it might be time to "freshen up" a few of yours, if you're looking for a new technique... EWolfe
Ok this is a none climbing shot that's been in my gallery for a while. An idea came to me that involves a swivel chair, imitating the auger work.....
Dechristo
I've rigged the swivel chair thing. You gotta be willing to sacrifice a belay butt seat
