SHOWERS SPREADING ONSHORE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY WILL LIKELY DROP AROUND 6 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IN THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH AND CENTRAL OREGON CASCADES. THE HIGHEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE AT THE SKI RESORTS. FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES OF NEW SNOW ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE MAJOR PASSES ACROSS THE CASCADES. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL BE AROUND 4000 FEET TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. MORE SNOW IS EXPECTED ABOVE ABOUT 5000 FEET LATE MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY AS ANOTHER PACIFIC SYSTEM MOVES ONSHORE.
