Lift skiing is so suck. the_finger.gif

on the other hand......

It is kinda nice though to get more vertical in a day than 95% of backcountry ski mountaineers get in a season.

That is if you are hitting the high speed quads and skiing alone.

And Blackcomb "glacier" lift skiing is kinda fun.

Wouldn't Mt.Daniel make a sweet lift area?.

i've had my best ski season ever, too. over 90 days on the snow so far. kind of hard to resist the lifts when they're a 2-minute walk from your door and don't cost a thing. i'll admit the backcountry stuff can be more rewarding, but for the most part i really enjoy it all. looking forward to some spring touring!

we covered it all i think, climbing at the crag, ski up peak and then ski down, lame hike up rattlesnake ridge (partner will have to write that TR), more climbing, easter stuff w/family, driving.

Maybe this website should be called Cascadeskiers.com. I can't believe how many of you got out and skied when the rock is so warm and dry right now. Obviously I got on the rock this weekend, in Squamish.

Well I guess.......but after period of being off the rock and getting plenty of turning in this winter all I can think about is all the personal projects that I gotta get in shape for.
