mattp Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 We have a large picnic shelter next to Lake Washington, with barbeques and a fireplace so it'll be just fine no matter what the weather. Some have asked about a possible slide show, and there is power available about 200 feet away (assuming the City has it turned on, which I did not check). I have a slide projector, and maybe I can come up with enough extension cords, so whose got the pictures for us? Besides food, which is at least party handled, we'll need some charcoal and some firewood. Pray for a nice evening so we'll be able to look at Liberty Ridge while we eat. Quote
mattp Posted May 5, 2003 Author Posted May 5, 2003 Might we have a bit of a gear swap? I have a mega huge McHale pack I'd sell to someone who wants to go to Mount McKinley. Quote
Dwayner Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 Matt P. say: "Besides food, which is at least party handled, ...." Brother Matt.....I'm sure you're a clean buy but I'm not sure that I'm interested in eating food that has been "party handled". - Dwayner...who puked Friday night from "party-handled" food. Quote

scot'teryx Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 I would come but I would have to bring Scooby, but for some reason he hates other dogs and tries to eat them. Norman_Clyde Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 I realized too late that I should have lobbied for Thursday not Wednesday, because I'm on call and therefore not allowed to become intoxicated. But I may bring some of that Jamaican ginger beer. Quote

I was gonna bring the lettuce, tomato, and onion too. Cheese eaters...you're on your own. Don't touch the stuff. Anybody know what the headcount is? I'm thinking maybe 30? Erik if you're coming I'll take down my line and bring it to the park. Should I bring the come-along to assist with set-up, or just some carabiners? Quote
