  18. I dunno. I e-mailed them at 2:10pm about warranty repairs on my winter bivy. I got a reply back at 2:13pm. That's smoking timewise. Of course e-mail always make sit easy to ignore those difficult cases...

  20. I definitely agree with you that an EMT/OEC gives you a new range of skills - and if nothing else, a much firmer grip on the basics (bandaging is somewhat useful to practice). If your short on time (who isn't?) a 2-3 day course is better than nothing.
  21. What were you doing up in scenic Columbia?
  22. Either get the girlfriend to stop putting nail polish on, or clip you toenails shorter. Much less than painful when there's hardly anything there.
  23. Ski Patrol stuff (OEC) is roughly equivalent to an EMT-B course - and EMT-B courses are available at most community colleges. It's over/underkill though - you won't have the tools/knowledge to do much in the field. Probably best just to go for a 2-3 day course.
  24. Try a piece of aluminum sheet and a hose clamp. The other solution is to by a piece of replacement AL tube (call a local metal shop, or try Mcmastercarr (who are expensive))
  25. Yeah, but you weren't a part of the original Putsch, so you'll be passed over. Better than ending it on a night of long knives.....
