  1. But can you watch DVD's in your pickup? Huh?! Can You?
  2. Alum. canoes should have 2 foam blocks ( 1 in the bow & 1 in the stern) to provide buoyancy in the event of capsizing. All canoes suck to be in once capsized. Good to see you made it ok!
  3. Excellent! Now when will that movie EVER come out. Bill's battling George Greenough for longest time in post production...
  4. Dr. Flash Amazing, We realize that in the sections of the fair berg of Portland that you inhabit public urination is an accepted, if not celebrated action, where I domicile myself this action is not so cherished. Instead I shall quaff a Chimay in your honor. Cheerio, cj001f
  5. Dear Dr. Flash Amazing, We here at the cj001f center for world domination have scanned your scread, found it unworthy of further attention, and summarily dispatched it to the electron recycler for future use as bestiality spam. Love and kisses to the kids, cj001f
  6. Hangdogging some overbolted chip-job? I was intimating spray, hangdogging's too good for you!
  7. If you look across Falcon's guidebook line they've put no effort into developing new guidebooks - they just milk the gravy train. But go back to where you belong DFA.

    Why?

It's starting to sound like a group of surfers, or ffishers, or skiiers......

    Why?

There are people who go to rock gym (or bouldering) a couple times a month because they love it...

    Why?

Judging by most of the people I know, most stick with ANY sport for only a year or 2. As a side question - what is climbing? If you go a couple times a month, are you a climber?
  11. Bump on Up....
  12. Post 9/11 I've had no problems with stoves or fuel bottles (even flying out of National airport). In fact the security people seemed much more interested in my carabiners. Just to be on the safe side I now use a pocket rocket - it's small, they don't notice it's there, and it's not that hard to find canisters most anywhere you go.
  13. I've never fallen on one, nor do I know anyone whose ever fallen on one. I do know they place alot better in icey mud/rock conglomerate - and I've heard they'll hold falls better when placed that way.
  14. I wouldn't waste money on them - they'd be quite easy to liberate (an axe would do the trick)
  15. If we're putting threads where they belong shouldn't everything on the climbers board go to spray?
  16. This is how we dealt with snaffles in the Bugs Ahhh ... the Bugaboo snaffles like their privacy.......
  17. Technically you can buy one pass good for all Federal Fee Areas (the National Park Pass works as a NW Forest Pass) - that doesn't mean it still don't suck.
  18. Check out the Jeff Lowe Ice Climbing bok - he climbed some nice stuff with the Pulsar's
  19. I'd recommend a chipmunk, or ten - of course you probably have other uses for them...
  20. It's called a bolt cutter. 1/8" cable is butter to them. And they're pretty easy to find. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00004T9K0.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
  21. Only if you have an Oregon license plate. If your car is registered out of state, you have to buy both OR & WA snow park permits (which is BS, IMHO)
  22. That be 1 of the Carbon Fiber Black Prophet (hence the singular prophet not prophets)
  23. Help finance my trip to the antipodes: BD CF Black Prophet - straight shaft. Make me an offer. Fish Haul Bag - pretty big, reasonable shape - $60 Wren Soloist - good shape - $60 2 BD Alpine Aiders - didn't use - $16/each CM Pulsar Modular - $40/obo PM me, or add @yahoo.com to my username and e-mail me.

    Mascots

Isn't it the Fighting Banana Slugs? The weirdest mascot is definitely the Live Oak (Morgan Hill, Ca) Acorns
