  1. And you're saying? If you're insinuating I was at the bar when I found out he'd taken a slip, that's a pisspoor, pointed statement. Ok, so just out of curiousity, where were you when you heard he had taken a digger?
  2. Way to get on it boyz. I'm sitting in my friggin officeon a sunday and drooling. Kill me.
  3. You the man. Nice TR.

    good things to know

I learned that the hard way. So did my girlfriend after she got a little frisky in the middle of dinner preparations.
  5. Preferably nude ones.
  6. Kas-- I'm no rocket scientist (I'm sure thats obvious) and I handled the sales and purchase of two homes without the use of real estate agents. They just want you to think its hard. Glacier-- Your parents--as well as everyone in the US--should pay for education because we live in a democarcy. Its incumbent on our society to have an educated populace. You gain from it, your parents gain from it, everyone gains from it. Ergo, everyone should pay for it.
  7. First, you dont want a percentage to go to a real estate agent dont use one. Don't want to incur a "prohibitive cost in moving" then don't move. Washington incurs a tax on sales of property? Shit, Oregon doesn't--don't like the tax move in a state that doesn't have it. Housing market on a whole is up? Well thank your government for creating the economic stability enabling the growth in your investment. Pay your taxes and quit whining.
  8. "Is that Skynyrd? Turn it up!"
  9. McCain will be too old to run.
  10. I sprayed Bitter Apple on the seatbelts of my old truck in an effort to keep my red heeler from chewing on them. I came back to my truck to find him licking the seatbelts. So much for its deterrent value.
  11. I picked up the Osprey Ceres 38 and really dig it. Its over 3lbs but its got a super comfortable suspension system, tool straps, ski/snowboard straps, shovel/crampon pocket, etc. I picked mine up at US outdoor for $129. Personally, I dont mind carrying a bit of extra weight in order to have a more comfortable carry. I bought this because my BD ice pack (55L) is too big for general day trips. Good luck
  12. That describes just about all the oregon peaks.
  13. Maybe CBS is referring to "faith" as in "I have faith that GW will make the right decisions". For a large majority of the voting public, researching the issues (and candidates) and developing a cogent ideology that informs their decisions is simply not something they have the time, inclination or aptitude for. Rather than do that, they place their faith in someone they identify with--perhaps on a very superficial level, but nonetheless they do in some way identify with him--and vote for that person. Does this make them stupid? I'm not going to judge that. Everyone makes their own cost/benefit analysis on whats important to them.
  14. When I had a um. . 'discussion' with the ranger during the closure I was informed that the entire east side was closed to climbing permanently.
  15. They're not structurally damaged in any way--they just show the signs of use associated with slogging through scree on the approach a few climbs. I can email you a pic if you arent in portland. I wear a size 10.5 T2, the invernos are 11s and the shoes I am wearing right now are 10.5. I seem to be in a gray area right on the cusp of a size 11 and they fit me fine. They do indeed come with the liners.
  16. There are a couple or routes on the NNW side of beacon. Not really that inspiring when right around the other side you have so much goodness.
  17. I chose a college specifically for its lack of a greek system, hence I know not of what you are referring. However, I can say that I have had several unfortunate incidents that began with the use of a three-foot bong. The 'project' is a chair made out of skis. Ergo, I will be cutting these things up. If someone wants to ski them I will defer to their intended use. If not, I'd be honored to include them.
  18. I'll take them for my project--unless someone wants to actually ski them. You have to promise to keep your 'old red graffix' in its cage though.
  19. I've heard about your "old red graffix". It wouldn't be that way if you stayed away from bath houses (or used more lubrication).
  20. I'm looking for a decent set of used (or reasonably priced new) 2004 (red graffix) K2 Work Stinx 181cm, preferable mounted with tele bindings.
  21. Sales pending on Tent, pack and mitts. Someone buy the fucking boots already will ya? Make me an offer.
  22. Wish the pics were better. I want another puppy.
  23. Yes, Joseph deserves kudos for keeping this constructive. I do however wish he would stop being an apologist for the PRG (if I hear him saying "Gary's not getting rich" one more time I'm gonna hurl). Let them do their own talking Joseph. Kudos also to the PRG for taking some steps to make the annual members happy.
  24. Nice pics! Good job getting on it!
  25. Last time I went to the Ski Fever thing I thought it blew goats. Lots of bones for nada. Has it improved? Sorry I'll miss ya Timmay. Boyz gonna be on da hood.
