Sorry to hear about that Muffy... I have had psoriosis for almost 20 years and a lot of people (except my dr) kept telling me it was cause of drinking beer. I quit drinking beer and I still have the damn stuff. Not sure if the photo light therapy helps your type but it does wonders for mine. Although it is a hassle going in to the derm office to tan 2 or 3 x a week. Good luck.

As a parent with a 4 year old that has a mouth full of cavities, despite religious brushing/flossing, I am all for the fluoride. I think the overall benefits outweigh the possible negatives. Our little town does not put it in the water and the dentist tells me that is why she gets so many cavities. I'm sure all that candy Santa brought has absolutely no bearing on the matter.

I grew up in Utah, where a common practice for young women that wanted to "save" themselves for marriage in the temple was to take in the ass instead. Somehow, I don't see the rational, but I guess they were still virgins, on paper anyway. Still seems like pre mariatal sex to me.

I could tell right away this was going to be a hot thread when I saw the title. I'm certainly no bible thumper and am turned off by any organized religion but what amazes me is how much animosity comes up when anyone brings up Christianity. I am curious if anyone would would give a rats ass if it was the ClimbigforHellsAngels, ClimbingforAthiests, ClimbingforJihadi or some other less threatening group? Seems like everyone is practically afraid these guys. They are not hurting anyone and just enjoying the right of freedom that we are all so fortunate to enjoy. I wish them a good safe trip. As for me, the whole West But does not sound like to much fun. I go to mountains not only for the challenge but also for peace and escape from the crowds of the lowlands. Spending my mountain experience with hundreds of others and waiting in a cattle line to the summit is just not my thing, but to each his own.

Cool, I have an old XGK that I will try that with. I have gotten the same service with Kershaw knives. Almost every time I have sent my knife in for a factory sharpening they send me back a brand new knife for free. Course it never hurts to schmooz em with a nice letter about how great the product is. I have had really good luck w TNF products too. Thanks for the tip. Where is MSR located?

If only I could re-live the glory days when I finally finished working my seasonal job in Denali and was once again "homeless and unemployed", my favorite time of the year. Sure, it sucked trying to figure out where I would live after I climbed for a few months but somehow, it always worked out. But, I never once had to beg or steal to make things happen. Seems to me, if you apply yourself just the very least possible, things will happen. Sit on your ass and wait for Ed McMahon to bring the million bucks and you get what you deserve... Not much sympathy and more hard times. Hope it works out for IceFall.

Dave, I should prolly call Brent huh? -Ken Yeah, I think he is heading south to visit family in CA and leaving around the 17th but I was also maybe going to meet him at Smith 21st-23rd. If it looks to cold there I may end up dusting off my alpine gear and heading to Hood or the like instead of rock climbing. Brent may want to hit JT or RR. Damn, I wanna play too!
