My insurance policy is 1 dollar a day covers mountaineering and ice climbing and all that stuff, as long as I dont participate in competition type events. Depending on which country you go to it may be possible to join their club and get medical coverage through them. I belong to the CAI for my trips to the Dolomites, covers heli costs for minor stuff like a twisted ankle or I even saw someone have visine dropped off. of course you need your basic Canaddian insurance first.

I thought he got the prize cause now Americans abroad dont have to apologize before saying where they are from?

My purple Metoloius, 0, took one fall to destroy it and it wasnt very big maybe 15 feet. I wouldnt lend my cams out for someone to fall on repeatedly so I probably woudnt buy one either.

I did this descent on the weekend, I found it super chill but I also used it to approach the N Rib so had an easier time in the forest descent. First off, why is everyone convinced there are multiple rappels? The topo talks of 1 30 m rap into a gulley, dont stop there but continue over to the next gulley North. This gulley is where the steep grassy slope under Parkes meets up, tere is a cairn. Drop down the gulley, walking super chill, cross scree and back up and onto Crossover pass. then just walk home, around 4-5 hours from N rib Col

Horrendous blind spots recently banned in quebec other provinces to follow suit shortly ICBC just did a study and found that RHD vehicles get into more accidents than LHD...basically you cant see fark all when you pull out of the curb labe parking spot.. Insurance is about to go up for RHD vehicles and then an outright ban Just get an old solid front axle truck throw boler on the rear, quickly notch out the wheel wells in the boler to except an old jeep axle and tire and roll down the street in your style!! Tru Canadian Style!! best thing is you can open the curtains up in the rear window and still use your rear view...plus its skinny enough you dont need extra side views...kitchen and the whole works..

No one ever said that, I dont think it has anything to do with skill, more about where you are from.

Ive used the spoof card app...was pretty funny till it got out of hand. I called my best friend around 11:30 at night, the spoof card also lets you disguise your voice. So I choose a womens voice and I decide to display my friends home number and I call his cell. Turns out he is in bed with his wife asleep, he looks over to see his cell ringing displaying his home number. He is confused, he picks up and I say in a womens voice "are you upstairs in bed?" He replies yes but is also somewhat weirded out, after a few moments of me saying I am downstairs in your house..he starts screaming "who the fuck is in my house, I am calling the cops right now, get the fuck out of my house..." His wife wakes up she is screaming..I am starting to freak out and I try and say hey dude its me.. but my voice is disguised...had to hang up call back and apologize profusely I have been laughing ever since...but calling someone displaying 911 and telling them to run for their life would be a blast hahahaha...good luck

No I agree you need tape, you can see in that picture you posted that you must tape for 5.12 finger tip cracks. Hell even though you climb 5.12 you may need it for some 4th class approaching. Thats the thing you must have tape gloves no matter what!!!
-
TAPE A wack load of tape, I never knew you needed it but after seeing all the American climbers in Squamish this year it was obvious, everyone always has massive tape gloves!!!! I dont know why but thats just what you do, even if you may only do one jam, you must wear tape gloves!!

So the math is, 1 pound per plant, 314 000 pounds of outdoor crap, say you get 2000$ per P if your lucky, then you get 628 000 000 then they go and take it to street value so double it and you get your 1.25 billion

hasnt it been raining in squish since Sunday? I thought today was the first dry day in a few? I was wondering what the dryness would be like this weekend

Yea and make sure you cover it in climbing stickers, get a dog named granite and oh ya grow a beard. Those right hand drive vehicles have started getting banned in some provinces so maybe you can get a deal out East. Iam sure BC wont be far behind especially since so many of those things have been imported. good luck or just buy a truck with a canopy, far better imo

My Iphone lasted 7 days with no charge in the backcountry listening to music and watching some video but not much. Just turn it to airport mode and it lasts quite sometime. I charge my phone every few days but I dont talk on it during the day very much but I do listen to music, vids seem to suck the life much quicker. If your at a base camp then there are a multitude of solar chargers that work well. I have had no issues with durabilty, I carry it like my camera in a case. I usually upload google maps then can use google maps cache without having to log on.

Out of curiosity why did you post this, is it because you think your way is superior and everyone should follow it?
