  4. Chris which organization are these weather stations associated with?
  5. Nah thats just the British Columbia flag
  6. But you guys love doing that, I thought bumper stickers were the rage in the US ? I would say that any cars that look like tourist cars, whether they are rentals or from abroad, have a higher risk than locals cars. I would geuss that it has more to do with the amount of loot you can score from a traveller as opposed to a local who problably has minimal gear in the vehicle. Follow the usual protocols and I am sure you will be fine, out right vandalization is rare.

  14. same price only gets you 5yrs in Canada..rip off
  15. web cams on whistler look fine to me..
  16. Well I suppose it would be more effective if I could spell..
  17. My friends girlfriend was denied on Thursday to go to Las Vegas sine her passport was expired she is Canadian with a birth certificate, they told her to drive across then fly..
  18. I made this image this morning, you can see the great moisture available spanning the entire Pacific. The high to the South will build in on Thursday cutting off the supply, the storm labelled Friday will move onto the N coast of BC while Southern regions look good. Weekend is shaping up nicely so is next week but then again it is November so all bets are off
  19. You cant currently fly across Can/US border with out a psssport and it cant be expired
  20. Thanks, from a Canadian point of view it was hard to understand how that many people could be thinking McCain. Good Luck
  21. If the entire rest of the world backs Obama around 80%, how come Americans are only 50/50 more or less ? Is is true then that just under half the American population thinks McCain should win? The polls I have seen are like 43/53 in Favour of Obama
  22. IMO Both are shitty boots and wont last more than a season here in the Coast Mountains. You need a leather boot and not one with a 2 cm strip of it, there are much better boots on the market that perform the same way as those piles.
  23. Thats how its supposed to be..its nice to have the cuffs over over the high backs, and who cares how much extra is bunched up. You definitely dont want to have a climbing pant for snowboarding!!
  24. I climb on 7.5 twins in the alpine and love it, especially in the pack. On easy climbs I bring one and fold it in half for a hard pitch or two. On snow couloirs I just bring it alone. There is no difference in rappel tangles between my 7.5 twins and my 8.5 doubles
  25. WOW, hardly anything in them couloirs, even twisting is mostly melted out a month ago.
