sweeet. i love it when Comcast recycles their IP addresses and i get to vote on a CC.com poll twice (last time i voted, it had sorta been a close call between the Book of Mormon and the young virgins).

ALL this means is that, if between midnite and noon that day, you unplug/restart your modem, you could experience a service interruption until noon. big wup. wouldn't be the first time Comcast service went kaput for a bit. i've sometimes had it go down for a whole day or even two (all told, in the 4.5 years i've had @Home/AT&T/Comcast it's gone down about 1 out of 100 days). sometimes i've hassled them to get the 1- or 2-day credit towards my bill (which they will do), but sometimes i just say fukkit. waiting on the phone forever and punching the keypad again and again to navigate all their punkass automated menus just ain't worth it.

as far as i recall, i didn't vote either way in the Sec. of State election last fall ... but Reed's predecessor, Ralph Munro, is one of the few Republicans I've ever voted for... he supposedly had/has good enviro. policies. And also, he gave me a job, one summer while i was in college! (not in state gov't tho... he hired me for landscaping work on his sweet waterfront property on Eld Inlet, near Olympia)

yeah going to the gym more is one of my resolutions, for sure... which hopefully wont be challenged/affected by another resolution of mine... to start coming to more pub clubs!! haha. actually i've been going to the gym a few times a month for about 12 years now... just coming out of a lull i've been in for the last two months, from having moved and all. i hate the way moving fucks with yer schedule. i know, i know... changed planes there once; was probably THE most clean, modern, orderly airport i've ever been in. place definitely has some bizzare laws tho. spitting your gum out gets you a caning.... possessing illicit substances gets you life in prison.... selling illicits gets you the death penalty. airlines that make ya wait at the baggage carousel almost an hour to get yer damn luggage. last nite at Seatac, me & all the other passengers from our flight watched the carousel for 30 minutes before it even started moving, & then the bags just started sllloooowwwwlly dribbling out... ended up taking 50 (count em, 50) minutes to get mine. guess it coulda been worse, they coulda lost it (like they did on the way to Florida a few days prior) but still... oh, in case you were wondering, it was Northwest.
