Soon, a BBQ Patriot act will be passed, authorizing a new secret agency that will be staffed by former CIA and FBI agents and that gives the BBQ Patriot Force (BPF) broad and sweeping powers to search, seize and dispense with "BBQ anti-Americans." A "BBQ anti-American" prison will be established in the old Granite school house, where the violators will be held and interrogated. BBQ anti-American cells will be infiltrated by BPF agents. We will no longer tolerate anti-American BBQ terrorists. Not in this land of freedom. - a s s m n k e y

This thread is surreal. Seeing pics makes it a little more, um, real to me. I may not agree with why you are there, but you're still Americans, so be safe, kick some ass (when and where appropriate), and get home when you're done. I'm still voting against W in November, though. - a s s m * n k e y

I just finished Fast Food Nation, very informative read. I am taking a break from eating beef until I forget what I read. I read the Camp 4 (Steve Roper) book before that. That was fucking killer. - a s s m n k e y

Thanks, good advice all. Not my first time, but first time for half of our group, and I assume they will be puckered. Best not to make this weekend TOO exciting for them. Snowbanks idea is great. It also suits my lazy approach ethic. We will be in the Muir area this weekend, and the Nisqually is a bit out of the way for our plans. And I am lazy. Did I mention that already? Question for Pope: Is it true? Do you shit in the woods? Thank you gentlemen, Mr. a s s m * n k e y

Me and my assmonkey friends will be near Camp Muir this weekend. Where are the closest crevasses in which we can practice our crevasse rescue techniques? Thanks! - a s s m * n k e y

I took this rad picture of a fairy drinking beer off the wall of Rennie's Landing in Eugene about 10 years ago. - a s s m n k e y

This is the book I use (road version is out there too, but I don't do that "road" style): http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1884737994/ref=sib_dp_pt/102-1597446-8835365#reader-link It's comprehensive.

Wow. It took you 7 hours and 5 minutes to come up with that very amusing retort. Nice job! Worth the wait!

I finally went and checked out her website. All I have to say is that photo gallery sucks. Her clothes are on in all the pictures, there's no fucking way I'm subscribing to that site. http://www.annabellebond.com/gallery.htm - a s s m n k e y

For more info, you can Google this shiznit: HR 163 (Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y.; Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington) S 89 (Fritz Hollings, D-S.C.) "These House and Senate bills would not only reinstate the draft for males between the ages of 18-26, but would add women, as well." - a s s m * n k e y
-
I agree. Both recent draft bills in the House and Senate were sponsored by Demoncrats, and the gentleman who sponsored the one in the house is on Kerry short list for VP. - a s s m * n k e y

And why is that? I'm curious. Is it because, though a bunch of knuckleheads support this stupid war, that they would rise up and literally revolt if they or their children had to go do the dirty work? The US military is very proud of the high standards their current staff meets. They believe that this high level of standards is due to the fact that the current military is all-volunteer. The people who enlist are people who want to be there. They believe that the draft will force into the military a group of soldiers who do not want to be there and will lower the high standard that is in place in the military. In the past two decades, military recruitment has been relatively more competetive than in the past, and not everyone who applies gets in (maybe this has already changed, I don't know). In defence of that position, one could point out the recent actions of the reservists at Abu Ghraibe. - a s s m * n k e y

I think it is conventional wisdom that if Shrub is re-elected, one of the first projects of the second term administration will be to re-activate the draft. http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml%3Fi=20040607&s=pollitt http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/Stories/0,1413,206~11851~2158802,00.html http://archive.salon.com/news/feature/2003/11/03/draft/
