minneapolis cops are thugs. I got the beatdown from the city of lakes' finest when I was a skinny 16 year old kid, courtesy of not just one cop but a good half dozen. an excellent use of taxpayer dollars, as I was truly a menace. no payday for me, though, not that I was looking for it. it would be nice to have a little trust fund action now though.

there already was a tintin movie, actually several they were all bad, hope that the spielberg & jackson movies are better from "tintin & the blue oranges": from "tintin & the golden fleece": and of course there's "tintin & the lake of sharks," which wasn't very good but was at least animated

i've had wrist pain like yours, pup. like frosty, i use wristguards at night, which helps a lot. climbing hard (not that I climb that hard) tends to aggravate it.

I switched to carrying 1/2" webbing - plenty strong and takes up a lot less space.

I tie a double overhand a couple feet up from each end. It's been a while since I tied both ends together; I seem to remember it tended to kink up the rope somehow.
