  4. hi joseph, first, you should be coming down here to climb! i've got plenty of sunny spots to go that no one is climbing at... and it's fairly warm. also, where did you learn this niacin trick? and do you really think it works? tell karsten to get down here as well - i haven't seen him in forever... and i've got a few routes for him to try as well.

  6. check out skyliner rd - lot's of nice skiing out there. if you have a mountain bike trail map, those trails double as good x-country skiing in winter.
  7. has beacon been climbable, joseph? bryan and i got out today and it was cold at first but good once you finished your first lap. i imagine it's a lot windier in the gorge.

    what sad news... and unfortunately true. vern was an outstanding person with the motivation of 10 men. his endless energy and drive will be missed by many.

  11. jennifer, which pitch of white satin did you fall on? the second pitch is loose but i think most people these days, do the bolted variation to the left. this allows you to link pitches 2 and 3. good climb!

  21. the guide is done and is significantly bigger than the last one. all the drawings and topos are new and look really good. hats off to mr. watts on another excellent guidebook. i'm not sure why it's not released yet though - that seems to be the eternal mystery.
  22. not the same rock. there seems to be a few around the state.
  23. illustrator would be the best for a couple pages of topos. if your laying it out in a book fashion - i would draw in illustrator, then bring it into indesign for the layout.
