Well, I'm not actually from Olympia, as the Alpinistic Fox would like you to believe, but from the Olympic Peninsula as well (Quil, PA, Forks) . I'll be over in your neck of the woods next weekend for the Rhody.
I like any movie that combines extreme mountaineering with high explosives. Hopefully the movie would involve toting plastic explosives up K2 or something.
I see you've been reduced to begging for the karaoke mic. Well, we'll have to see what we can do here. I believe Klenke is calling for a karaoke pubclub!!!
Only two pages, and we're already settling on a place? However, this is some wonderful confusion lingering. For instance, is the pubclub this week, or next?
I won that medal by performing "special" feats, which included riding that little bike 40+ miles.
Also, note the brightly colored logoed spandex. I'm a poster child for all that's wrong in the world.
If you ask around enough, pretty soon you'll find someone who will tell you what you want to hear. I employ this method quite a bit myself.
Good work, thanks for the TR. Did you figure out the nutritional value of those cough drops?
and I'm gonna party like its my birthday
maybe I should change my screen name to "specialolyclimber".
Just FYI for everyone, I'm training for the Olympics, they plan to make mountaineering an event for the 2010 Olympics...thus the name "olyclimber".
I was so inspired by John's TR that immediately went out and climbed Schurman Rock. It may not be the highest point, but it is the prominent granite and concrete feature of Camp Long. I free soloed the harder south face, while my son freed the north face.
I was serious. I've heard of "pump" in terms of "gripped", but not in the context you were using it.
As you can see from the SEA pubclub thread, organizing anything with this group is like herding cats.
