.....looks like Oakley Press has made a facsimile in 2008...most likely available at Walmart or some similar outlet....words and pictures should be functionally equivalent to the original dated text....

How far should we take this? I could ban you just like the real CJB. -
with the cost of tuition it really isn't a good idea to jump into to college without a good idea of what you hope to do with your education. I went straight into college and changed majors 5 times, but this was before major tuition hikes. And now I work in a field unrelated directly to anything I studied. I definitely recommend going to college, but at todays rates I would definitely recommend having a good idea of what you hope to achieve. of course, if mom and dad are paying for college, then by all means go for as long as you can. get a PHD. get 5 bachelors degrees. I think you can do both college and grand travels...you just have to work hard to make it happen.

you ass clowns. don't make me cry!

If the shoe fits, wear it.

just skimmed what you wrote as i have to take off, but it sounds like we are, in part, agreeing. however, maybe i just misread what you wrote. the two are apples and oranges. getting back to my original joke: get rid of medical insurance all together! if you don't have the money for a liver transplant you should probably die. there are slight ethical problems with this, thats why I call it a joke. Is it a joke to you?

COULD THIS BE CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN???

what would be awesome is if they jumped in and massively overpaid for players like some teams are doing. not saying that they aren't giving Olivo too much, but 20+ million for 7 years? For players in their 30s?

You must not like the Lookout Landing either. Hard to find anyone cheering this deal on. But I just found one!

looks like the HD version may have been going for $99 at Costco? They aren't selling it on their website anymore, though they did. Probably an in-store stock may vary type deal now.

VIO product looks nice but lots of money and HD version ($599!) isn't out yet.

Anyone have a helmet cam? Can you recommend one? I know there are some pretty nice ones out there. Colin is using one to record some if his climbs. I'm looking for one for a friend. It would actually be for recording skate boarding, but i think these things work for anything (mountain biking, skating, climbing, etc). Needs to have a wide angle lense (fish eye) and be helmet mountable.

Because the free market insurance industry is fucked? You know, the invisible handjob? Did you read the part about procedures not covered by insurance being mostly OPTIONAL? Its like comparing buying a new Lexus to getting a life saving kidney transplant. Apples and oranges.
-
maybe you are right. or maybe you are comparing apples to oranges. cosmetic medical procedures are generally not covered by insurance. most "life or death" procedures are. most "wellness" procedures are. if insurance doesn't pick up the tab, of course the industry is going to adjust the cost to make as much money as they can. Cosmetic procedures are OPTIONAL. Live and death procedures are too, or course. Perhaps only those that can afford to live should.
