  1. Nice job! I got get on that thing sometime. The pictures are great.
  2. As much as I love climbing and obsessed with it, I would have to give it up. Though I know the process would take years to get over and I would probably be one grumpy mofo that nobody would want to be around. At some point though I know that I would be able to redirect my focus. The sad part would be, I would probably end up killing myself with some other sport that I love (namely free-riding). I am so happy that I will most likely never have to make this decision and I can go about accepting the risk that is involved in my actions.
  3. A little early aint it? Shit we still have 2 months left. So far it was Mount Kenya, but a month of cruising around France wasn't half bad.
  4. I am in France right now in the Vallee du Lot been here for the last week, wishing I pull that 8c shit, but instead sticking to the moderates. It has been nice to be chilling at the crag without a bunch of kids hanging out pawing through your stuff. It is crazy how many bolts there are all over the place it would be Pope hell. Also in most areas we have gone too they have little glued on signs at the base of the route with the name and grade of the climb. Ropeup sound like it was fun and it seems that mother nature did not fail to make it a wet one. The deversion that you guys had down in Cashmere is funny as hell.
  5. Souds like a good ropeup this year wish I could have been there. Instead of too much tube steak, microbrew, rain, and sandstone; my trip has been involving too much fois gras, red wine, sun, and limestone.
  6. Ok I hope your all havin a good time, I know I am in Southern France, youll just have to wait until next years rope up for the pictures.

    Server Slowness

Shit you have no idea what slow is until you come out to Rwanda. I have the fastest connection there is here, and it is unbelievably expensive and it is slower than the slowest land line I have seen in the states. It's beyond bad.
  8. Heated Sterno filtered through white bread.
  9. Alright alright... not to diminish what these guys just pulled off, but I couldn't read the caption and I think this photo is desevering of a good caption.
  10. I agree with Ivan, there is essentially no need or purpose for a revolution when americans have everything they "need", or at least believe they need. I am definitely siked to get out of that stagnant country. Even with all those things that you listed off, living in the states is easy, there no fucking way people are going rise up and jepordize there comfortable lifestyle. Say if the poor in the cities rose up, the populace that own a house, have job, have there SUV, children, Xbox and cable wouldn't stand for it and squash any type of major movement. I don't see that there would be any other superpower that could start squeezing Unkle Sam hand a little to tight, say if there was a superpower that was on the rise we would either squash it or allign ourselves with them. This is silly. At first I thought this thread was going to be about the TV show Boiling Point not some trying to figure what it going to take. Shit things would have to go pretty damn sour and I it won't happen in our lifetime.

    Cyclocross

If you get into it Independent Fabrications make a beautiful cross bike. I have never raced on a cyclocross bike, but I have always wanted one for riding long distances on easy trails.
  12. Here is my submission. I just got back from Europe and I saw a few people wearing this shirt. It's bound to be a hit with the cc.com crew. How about using John's snaffle? "Suck my Snaffle!"
  13. Tear up there BP, no breaking your shit this season.
  14. You have been hanging out with Fred too much.

    Prayer

Sweet! Everybody is going to be praying on my birthday. Hmm maybe something good will happen the next day, like a month long trip to France.
  16. Nice JayB, that is a fun little climb, though on a Labor Day weekend I don't know if I would have chosen a south face like that one. It gets hotter than hell up there. Try some of the other routes they are nice too, great place to get away from the crowds and do some early or late season rock. BTW did you find my nut tool up there? I left it at top of the climb about 8 years ago.
  17. That's exactly what I was thinking!

    GOOD MORNING!

You just can't get anything right this evening, it's not plastic, it's rock.

    GOOD MORNING!

What the hell are you talking about, 6:00 pm and I should have left a while ago and hit the bouldering wall.
  20. Nice job you guys! Eric glad to hear it was only flight time that you clocked. Where's the photos of the airtime? I guess the camera crew went with Sharma and Graham? I also have to agree with Eric on Puff da Chronic, Draggin', it seems more fitting, unless there is a part of the story you aren't tellin' about some inflatable sex toy? BTW when are you guys going to get around doing that sit start on Lib Crack? Shit you been talkin' smack about that for a while now.
  21. Nice Job. Shit if I get back over to Washington I definitely have to make it over to the Wine Spires sometime. I kick myself for not getting over there when I had the opportunity.
  22. Why no problem loser, come on over. I was going to Sercret Valley for some rock climbing and maybe a mountain bike ride. I got an extra bike you can use, it has training wheel and I full face helmet, looks like you will need it. Call me when you get into town 08 892 333. Definitely bring your mom too she's hottie, maybe a little young for me though.
  23. Yeah Klenke there is not much here but there is some. South Africa has some sweet looking routes in the Drakensburg mountains during July/August. Mt. Kenya of course, I would like to go back and give the Diamond a go, the upper pitches look awesome, and the first couple pitches would offer up some technical mixed climbing. The West Face looks sick too, but once you get over the technical glacier I think there is steep choss to climb. I would still like to try the Breach Wall on Killi, but that is a difficult one to work out the logistics with the park and the last time I flew around the mountain they weren't there. The Rwenzoris supposedly have some routes over there, I am still waiting on a 70's out of print copy of the guide for that area. Then the latest I found out about is some sweet ice climbing opportunities in Morrocco in March. So it is around, just got to time it right.
  24. Alright alright alright, I know it took a long time but HERE it is, the full report. Enjoy. Next France! Then the Rwenzoris! Maybe Morrocco soon to follow?
