Ohhh. I have even got one better. We were in a pool of people buying thermarests at REI as a wedding gift for some people. One of the person's in the pool said, "I think we should pay less than the person purchasing the thermarests at REI, becuase the person purchasing the thermarests will get the dividend at the end of the year. That is not fair."

When a culture changes, so will the religions change around that culture.

[TR] Colonial/Stump/Pyramid in a day- 10/23/2005

Dude. That is fast. Your house might be perchance at the hamlet of Diablo? -
You weren't climbing with a former CIA agent who specialized in WMD were you? They have lost stuff before.
-
True that for me too. Being married and having children has changed that perception for me. Climbing is just a hobby for me. I often wonder what I will think when I am on my deathbed, so I try to listen to others who are on their deathbed and learn from what they say. Many on their deathbed often say they wish they had spent more time with their families and friends. I will take their wise words into consideration.

Is apology part of your recovery plan?

Remember the fundamentalist Christians believed George Bush to have high morals during the election. I doubt they have changed their opinion. War would also be considered a high moral value to these Christians.

idots. I hate idiots. Yes. That does include you.

Let there be peace on earth. (luggage sticker says ... Plame on it)

general rule I have found toyotas and hondas break down less. toyotas break down less than hondas. New subies are breaking down more, but old ones are okay. good gas mileage is a smaller car. but you want all wheel drive. based on your parameters I would go in this order: Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV, Subaru Forester. Better gas mileage of course is the stick rather than automatic. You pay more at a dealer lot. Look in craigslist.com in your area for those vehicles. Downside. smaller vehicle. But how often did you use your dakota to its fullest capacity?

I like the two foil wrapped potatoes on the desk. Question is, did he get distracted and the potatoes are on the desk before he got to the oven or did he take them out of the oven and went directly to the keyboard?

Next time when I go cross country I will not break any branches with my hands.

You are an ass. Now I can't figure this one out. Who is doing the trawling? CC or KK? I ate KK's worm before.

oh yeah. That must be a Freudian slip for me!

any treehouses that anybody knows to rent for a night? Would love to take my kids to one for a little excursion. I don't have good enough trees in my yard to build a treehouse.

I think you are right....but this country will not vote in a woman. Rice. No way. First this country needs a black man to accept as president before it accepts a black woman. That's just culture. Sick. But true. P.S. people are getting more and more tired of this Iraq thing and Rice is too connected to it.

I never heard that one before. Liberals believe that individuals should be free to do whatever they please on the free market, within the law. Liberalism is more open to progress and change. Conservatives look to conserve traditions and truths from the past. Based on those explanations I gave above, if you are a conservative, then you would have been against women voting, and against segregation in schools. I guess women voting and segregation of schools were only emotional issues for liberals when these issues became hot topics in our nation.

Ummmmm..... Iraq had to prove they did not have WMD. They had to prove they destroyed those weapons. It was part of the UN negotiation at the end of the first Iraq war. Why they made it difficult for the inspectors over so many years????? I have no idea. Fact is: Iraq had to prove they had not WMD. The UN did not have to prove they had WMD. There is a subtle difference but important one between the two.

You guys throw your shit continuously and think it will stick. Just because you say Bush is a liar over and over again ad nauseum does not make it true, nor does it mean that the American public believes it to be true. What you can't take is that this is the case. Well, it is. You've failed to convince the American public. Deal with it. And no amount of the "press" parroting your accusations will change that. So enjoy your sour grapes. You must generally agree with how your tax dollars are spent. As well as your future tax dollars. Remember, 1/3 of your tax dollars are spent on paying interest. Interest does not go back to the general infrastructure. Who holds a lot of the U.S. debt these days? China. That 1/3 of your tax dollars for interest is rising too.

I know this is late in the thread....but people were talking about voting fraud and problems with the voting. Please remember people that with each vote there is a large amount of volunteers. Volunteers make mistakes. They are not paid. If you want perfection in votes you will have to pay for wages of people who are willing to return for the amount of pay. They only way that will happen is if you the public allows for higher taxes to pay for those people. Volunteers make up a large part of the public voting process. They make mistaks.

Talk about hardass. Here is a quote: "There, at 8,000 meters. Steve took off his his boots to dry off his socks in the sun and Vince took a 5 minute nap." Sounds fricken balmy at 8000 meters.

Yeah. Was worth the effort. Would have liked to take three days to do it. Two days was a bit much. I think 4 days would have been overkill.
