main piece of advice: balance You have find out what that balance is with the wife. If you do too much climbing, she might get too pissed off. If you don't climb enough, then you will probably turn into one big a-hole. I don't go out barhopping or anything like that, becuase she understands my "time with the guys" is in da mountains. So I have had to change some of my "other extracurricular" activities so I could just focus on more climbing. I also have two children, and I constantly thank her for looking after them when I go out. It shows my appreciation.

I was thinking about this on the pot. I guess tradguy advocates people only go where there is cellphone coverage. Too bad for those people just walking next to the side of roads in canyons with no cell phone reception, becuase that would be irresponsible.

climate change may be the only thing to save the earth from the overpopulation of humans and put them back into check --the broken record has spoken again

One of their 4 mountaineering responsibilities in the person's analysis: 4. The Fourth Responsibility is: Carry your common digital cell phone, turned on! I call B.S. Cell phone reception is not reliable and therefore is NOT a responsibility of a person in a wilderness setting.

meanwhile profits are really high at Exxon! I think Exxon could have done a good PR move and just paid the amount....last quarter...and settled the case and admitted wrongdoing. then they might not be under so much public heat these days with their profits. but what the hell do I know. check out your 401Ks. Every single one of my 401Ks have Exxon stock. So, go ahead and rape me.

Talked to those guys several times as we were ascending Denali. Nice people. We were also practicing on a weekend on Mt. Rainier with the three of them too. We all came across a blind climber on Rainier who eventually climbed Everest--we were all wearing goggles in some tough winds and this guy wasn't and was retying his boots without looking down. We all felt kinda wimpy.

do you guys realize how much those blue states are going to lose out on gay weddings? Those gay dudes know how to put on a party with lots of money spent. This is a business!
-
who did you know in 1995? I was on the mountain not too far away when those three died, and started up the hill just after one guy died. saw one guy from france get helicoptered off too.

are you thinking of going july 4th and returning on july6th? If you return on july 7th I would might be interested in rideshare--but no guarantees. Not interested in Bonanza, and I would do my own thing.
