Thanks for letting me live through your vitality of life! -
I have always thought it was the larger safety nets of the more socialized western governments have created less religiousity--that is why you see less European people being more religious than the U.S. People tend to go to religion when they are in a bad spot...and since governments have been taking over that role, then less people go to a religion. The US is less socialistic and has less safety nets, and therefore people have relied on religion more... just an opinion

My question to the UN Human Rights Council: If you a allow a resolution to take away any type of speech, aren't you committing a human rights violation? Then the debate goes to defamation or threats. Threats have been deemed not allowed under free speech anywhere I have read--even here is in the U.S.A. So then it comes to defamation. Is taking away the act of defamation, committing a human rights violation? Does defamation cause harm to an individual? How do you define defamation? "Kevbone, you sure are ugly." That sure is defamation.

Can someone explain this to me what they say. They said that 30million evangelical christians stayed home and did not vote, and Obama was elected. Isn't Socialism based on the same philosophies as Christianity? Not perfect, but close.

bureaucracy. how many administrators making a fat paycheck got laid off, do you think? Bingo!! I would like to see a simple statistic that shows the percentage of administrative costs from the whole at each School District over 30 years. My hunch is that the administrative costs have never decreased....

Have you ever had a period in time where you have NOT heard there is too much money for education? In my lifetime I have always heard people whine about not enough money for education. Always. Even during the dot.com bubble and this state had excess money. Always. When you get kids in the public school system, then you start learning about waste. War. Yes. A waste.

I know someone who bought at $35K truck, and did not pay for health insurance. He broke his foot twice. Went to the hospital twice. They treated him twice. He did not pay. Federal law says they must treat people who enter the hospital. Yet....he bought a $35K truck, and has digital cable too. A family member smokes, and watches about 5-8 hours of tv a day, and is obese. True too. However, she is covered by insureance. So...what will medicaid look like for her in the future? You pay for this too. I t comeses down to is health care a right or a privelege?

We will do fine--not just as well. I agree the Discovery Pass thing has put a crimp on potential tourist dollars. Some poeple don't go to trailheads becuase of the NW pass for the same reason.
