AlpineK Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Is the media liberal? Conservative? Or neither?  The only question you need to ask is  Does the Media like Ron Paul?? Quote
ivan Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 the liberal media can't answer you right now - they're too busy sleeping off the annual hangover after once again losing the fucking War on Christmas ! Quote
kevbone Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 The media is corporate. Â Best answer Quote
ivan Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 The media is corporate. Â Best answer what though is your definition of "news?" in theory, every jackass w/ a twitter account or a smartphone or access to teh intrewebs can provide you with news, and thus put whatever cooties said person contains into said news... Ben Beckerich Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I haven't watched "the news" in about three years... I really couldn't tell you a damn thing, to be honest. Same goes for any and all TV, aside from the occasional episode of Archer or High Gear on Netflix. Quote

JasonG Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 There is "news" for every political stripe, including conspiracy theorists. You can always find what you want to hear, and post a link in spray to back up your position. Â Caveat emptor. Quote
Crux Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I'm afraid that I'm just a bit too stunted at an adolescent level of cognition to be able to respond to this question in other than black and white terms. Therefore, what? Â Is? Â Quote
Pete_H Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Is the media liberal? Conservative? Or neither? Â More specifically, is Steve Pool liberal? Conservative? Or neither? Â Quote
Woodcutter Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 The media are owned by the corporations and promote the corporate agenda. Which means privatization (profits for elite business folk), war (profits for elite business folk), reduced government (so you can have more privatization (yeah, I will spare you), attacking all forms of collectivism (reduced profits (if you borrow your neighbors lawnmower) (unions etc)). Oh, and stupidity (advertising and unchallenging op-ed), so you can’t work any of this out for yourself.  Unless you mean the ‘free’ media. Who don’t get to relentlessly pump their message via the TV into what’s left of the American brain.  Quote
ivan Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (at some (point) a (man) can (go too deep} into (parenthetical thought)!) Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) People may relentlessly refer to me as the town pump, and I'll admit I do like the occasional massage, but I assure you there's plenty Left of the American brain.
