nice, but climbers have been practecing on this crag since the 40s so theirs probibly not an inch that hasnt been ascended. but good info

if there were any hikers up there - they were probably all staring at you in amazement. lol. but since it was ice/snow covered up there there probably wasn't too many people there.

 

none the less, looks like a cool trip!

Ummm . .. . yeah. I have seen several folks on this "FA" over the years, including "Git R dun" locals trying to impress their girlfriends.

 

 

But, I agree that all alone, in winter conditions, the haystack can feel like casting into the unknown. Good times!

At least you didn't claim it was the newest alpine super classic, like so many other reported "FAs" on this site...

Maybe the "FA" part is an April Fools joke? I cannot imagine there is a square inch on the haystack that hasn't been climbed up and down.

Faux Doorish Twitter account!? Wish I had thought of that one. I did find a possible Doorish relic last year - empty Jack Daniels bottle stamped 1984, located near some of his (un)reported FAs from that time period. DNA testing has been inconclusive.
