G-spotter Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 You are a good argument for making abortion retroactive. Quote
mkporwit Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Or you could get yourself a DeLorean, a flux capacitor, and go back in time and seduce his mother Quote
rob Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) I just seduced his mother last night, and I didn't need any of that stuff  Why do we call it pro-life? Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it anti-choice? Edited November 17, 2008 by rob Quote
mkporwit Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Yep, I prefer the "pro death" and "you have no choice" slogans... Â And your adventures last night will not result in kevbone fading out of existence... Quote
pink Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) someday the fetus will abort you and it will be their choice   Edited November 17, 2008 by pink Quote

kevbone Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Â Why do we call it pro-life? Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it anti-choice? Â Well said. Maybe a more important question is.....is it possible to be pro-life and pro-choice at the same time. Quote
Bug Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Why do we call it pro-life? Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it anti-choice? Â Â The Bible says, "You will know them by their fruits." Which track is most effective at decreasing the overall number of abortions? Teaching abstention, eliminating birth control education programs, and locking up the birth control? Or teaching people how to have protected sex and provide easy access to birth control? Â It seems like a no-brainer to me. And once you have them trusting you, you can start teaching them about the other things you beleive. Â In the end, the choice is theirs. No one can force morality upon another. Our Example exemplified leading by example and using unconditional love as the primary tool. Â Cheers! Â Â Quote
kevbone Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Â Â The Bible says, "You will know them by their fruits." Â Â What page is that on in "freedom of the hills". Quote

Stefan Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I have always found it interesting my friend who is: a) against government regulation BUT b) for more government regulation with anti abortion laws  Quote
rob Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I've always found it interesting, in regards to conservatards, that when it comes to issues they are against, such as legalizing gay marriage, they always demur, "oh, that's a state's rights issue." Â But when it's an issue they support, such as anti-abortion, suddenly there should be federal legislation. Â Quote
j_b Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 The one that gets me is the correlation between "pro-lifers" and those who condone murderous wars of agression. It'd make Orwell proud. Quote
RuMR Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I love looking at the Spray forum and seeing "Abortion Kevin " Quote

minx Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 this is just perfect! the election is over so now we, the collective genius of spray, are discussing and therefore about to solve the very straightfoward issues of the day like abortion. damn i love spray! Â i let y'all guess where i stand on the issue but if you're anti-choice but pro death penalty then you're a friggin hypocrite. Quote
Mountain_momma Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 think of it as population control. If it becomes illegal this earth will be crawling with friggin idiots. Quote

Braydon Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Not suprisingly I'm more pro-life unless something really bad happened to the person. Always seems like there's a better choice such as adoption. Quote
