Rad Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 This is it! Don't blink or you'll miss it. Quick - go to Index and climb something awesome! I enjoy my work, but I wish I could heed the call of Index cracks and fall colors today... Quote
rob Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Friday should be an awesome index day, too. You can make it, Rad. Quote

MATT_B Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 In a perfect fall day, I'm not at work. . . . Today is NOT a perfect fall day Quote
archenemy Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 I have a work from home day, and I really should be abusing that... At least I have a window that's open! Got to be thankful for the little things in life! Quote
Jens Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 I mowed the lawn. It's actually to warm for a redpoint in the sun! Quote
crackers Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 It was gorgeous here in NY too, but I was in the factory making new dyneema packs all day. Three days in a row of perfect weather, and all I get to do is work from 5am to 7pm... Quote
Stefan Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 And if you are watching the sunset right now...it is pretty damned great. Quote
dmuja Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Seattle temps: Normal high = 57 deg F Todays high = 72 deg F Yeah, great day....for August. Unfortunately however, its October. Quote

selkirk Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Woohoo, spent all day Saturday at Vantage What a fantastic weather day. I'm week, and only did 4 climbs, but was a great day! Oh, and Wonder Dog came and was very well behaved Quote
ScottP Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Woohoo! Darrington on Sunday. Low 50's, hazy sunshine. Quote
MCash Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Woohoo! Darrington on Sunday. Low 50's, hazy sunshine. It WAS beautiful today. What formation were you on? We were on X-Dome. Quote
mattp Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What did you guys climb? Get any good pictures? I witnessed a totally rad first ascent on Saturday. Quote
ScottP Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What did you guys climb? Get any good pictures? Warmed up (literally, it was cold) on Under the Boardwalk. Magic Bus, Dirt Circus (that top anchor is pretty creepy)and the first pitch of 'Til Broad Daylight. Didn't have a camera with me, but I wish I had brought one. The lack of leaves made for more open views. That Visionquest has "classic" written all over it. Is it near Leavenworth? Quote
mattp Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I hope to go replace some of those bolts on Dirt Circus some time. That first pitch of Daylight (I assume you mean the first two half-pitches?) is one of the best 5.8 pitches in Darrington, in my opinion. -- I can't tell you where Visionquest is. You'd probably go try to poach the second pitch. Quote
Cairns Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 What did you guys climb? Get any good pictures? Hoh yeah. Went down to the traverse and saw this seal: 2 1/2 hours later, 15 seconds of cute video, dead battery, seal not a baby but a lumpy cigar-smoking midget: did the usual: Quote
JayB Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Many laps on Fall Creek... One of the few places I'll miss... Quote
