I think it is sick that someone would do that. Why would anyone want to yank the emotional chains of people they don't even know. Why evoke what is one of our best attributes (empathy, concern, whatever) and then step on that person? I just don't get it.

 

Dude, I live on the assumption that folks are basically decent. A troll is a troll, but there is a bottom limit that most people won't stoop below. So forgive me for being a bit surprised.

You probably know this, but your avatar is a scientific drawing of a monkey from a london zoological museum (can't remember which one). I saw it on a postcard at the Frye Museum on Capitol Hill.
