Weekend_Climberz Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 So, it's been brought up by me and a few others that a West Seattle Pub Club would be cool  Here's a few options: 1. Beveridge Place Pub, a little farther south and up on the hill. 2. Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub, on the same street as Beveridge, but farther north. 3. Skylark Cafe, right on Delridge below the West Seattle Bridge. Any other suggestions would be great :brew:
To_The_Top Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I've only been to the Elliot, has good group seating upstairs but parking is troublesome. Remember those pubclubs at the Alki?
Weekend_Climberz Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 Remember those pubclubs at the Alki? I'm a Junction Junky, so I don't hang down on the beach a whole lot. I'd be game for a change though. Not sure about good places to , though
Dave_Schuldt Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 The place under the bridge sounds cool but I have a cold, see you next time.
Kat_Roslyn Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Please have it at the one under the bridge, and can someone wheel me?
tread_tramp Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Is anyone heading over from capitol hill with room for a rider?
NTM Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i'll come from the u dist around 9 with room for another (or 2 if you're short). pm me if you need a ride from somewhere around there (cap hill included)
TrogdortheBurninator Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I might attend this W. Seattle Pub Club, but that doesn't mean I in any way endorse future pub clubs in such inconvenient (i.e not N. Seattle) locations.
olyclimber Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 if there is gonna be wimmin there i might go. since i live over here in west seattle and all.
Dr_Flush_Amazing Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Will David Parker be there? Somebody invite him.
Weekend_Climberz Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Yeah, yeah, yeah....we usually do it up there in North Seattle, but I figured in the last year that I've been going we could at least have one near my house. Skylark sounds good to me, good place and good atmosphere
Weekend_Climberz Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 It'll be about 8:00 for me, but yeah
AlpineK Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Trogdor is giving me a ride, so I'll be there. It's been a long time since I partied in West Seattle.
Weekend_Climberz Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 W00T It'll be good to meet you again, Kurt
snugtop Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I have trapeze till 9 but if Kurt is there I'm coming!
NTM Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Thank you for having us over to your country! It was nice to meet a few new folks and see some familiar ones from the last pube club.
tvashtarkatena Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 You fuckers planned this when I'm out of town. It's a conspiracy.
Weekend_Climberz Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 I'll put up a few pics later tonight  The injured were well represented last night. I hope everyone with a cast, brace, or other miscellaneous ailment is resting well after a good night of partying
Jens Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I didn't hear about this! Let's plan the mother of all pub clubs in a few weeks and we'll all pledge to coax 2-3 of our luker climbing partners to attend- (You know your partners that read this site every day but only post like twice a month). Someplace empty with a couple of huge tables. Let's shoot for 40+ folks- It could be done. We could scare off everyone else from the bar with all our route beta.
NTM Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 (edited) how about the shanty on lake city way? it's a rad bar and usually not crowded during the week. Edited February 1, 2007 by NTM
TeleRoss Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 No need to wait a few weeks! TONIGHT at Dantes Big tables, pool tables, air hockey and $1 PITCHERS from 8-9 $2 from 9-10. Why wait! Last week we had about 15 people this week hope for many more! cheers
