Gary_Yngve
Who else here sings or plays an instrument? Jeff Hansel's in a rock band. CBS plays the trombone and is in a small jazz ensemble? I've been playing the cello for over 15 years. My last ensemble was a duo with a pianist. Sadly she moved away a few months ago. Our piece was Cesar Franck's Violin Sonata (transcribed for cello). I've been working on the Lalo Cello Concerto in D minor lately. The first movement I'm pretty happy with, though the other movements need to be brought up to tempo. catbirdseat
Actually I play in three groups: a concert band, a symphony orchestra and a 17-piece jazz ensemble or "Big Band". The jazz group will be playing on June 18 at the Edmonds Arts Festival.

I think it's great that you feel comfortable enough to play the chocolate trombone in front of a live audience. Bravo.

TREETOAD
I am actually fairly adept at yodelling. I also tried out for as a soprano in the mens steambath choir but they made me feel uncomfortable so I quit that sort of thing. Nowadays I do all my yodelling in the canyon...if you know what I mean.
