Blake Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005  Mountain Climbing    Amazing Shot.. is this one playing tricks on anyone else's mind? looks like he's above an enormous overhanging chasm. I must be viewing it wrong.
robert Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 It needs to be rotated 90 clockwise. It is still pretty sick though.
Geek_the_Greek Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Scenic: Nisqually glacier from top of N. chutes.
specialed Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 It needs to be rotated 90 clockwise. It is still pretty sick though. Â No way. The camera was maybe tilted a little bit, but not much because that's how steep the wall was there. Took the pic on the NE ridge of Alberta in a spot where the whole side just falls away onto the whole general N Face abyss. I don't know why the ground looks so funky
chucK Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Scenic March of the Glacier Lillies, 4th of July at Paradise  Climbing N Ridge of Middle Peak of Index, Index Traverse, July 2005
olyclimber Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 How long is this izzle going on for? Â from first post (other rules there too): -Entries will be accepted for 2 weeks (maybe longer if we feel like it).
JayB Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Oly - all you need in the Geoduck montage is Slothrop's cataract-glasses dude and annabelle bond for the cc.com Collage-of-Doom. Â Good stuff.

Took the pic on the NE ridge of Alberta in a spot where the whole side just falls away onto the whole general N Face abyss. I don't know why the ground looks so funky  I am not ripping it or anything. It is just if you rotate the image the crazy undercut chasm of death looks like a ridge. The climb actually looks just as steep and exposed.
specialed Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 That makes the ridge and the chasm of death look right, but then the climber and the other side of the ridge are fucked. Maybe Oly needs to add the geoduck and Annabelle Bond to make it right.
robert Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 If Annabelle was keeping you company at the belay that would help the picture.
specialed Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Atleast the belay would have been warmer.
robert Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Atleast the belay would have been hummer. That is what I'm talkin' 'bout.
111 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 bouldering: sisters Climbing: crash & burn at Wolf rock Humor: chicken, fire, beer. what else do we really need??? Ice: rime on Hood Scenic: view from Hood  As a side note; great pictures all!
Greta Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Climbing- Rock  The Alien- Tres Piedras, NM  Id like to disrespectfully yank this one as an entry. I failed to read the directions and created my own subcategories of Alpine and Rock climbing. The pic is waaay to big anyhow.
